Used http://brickseek.com...ventory-checker to check Splatoon's inventory knowing this website is not 100% accurate. Most stores were showing 1 or less, a couple had 2. I fell asleep since I had been up a super long time, woke up at 3:30am check the inventory checker again, noticed that the closest store near me was reporting 0 in stock now but the 2nd closest still had 2 listed. Decided why not, it's not that far away and it's only a torrential downpour outside right now so I went. Noticed in the game case they had like 20 copies of Splatoon which I found odd, deduced they weren't opening them, found the games up front 1 copy of Splatoon right in front of me - grabbed it. One copy of Majora's mask also right next to that, grabbed it. Also a copy of Smash for 3DS near that one, grabbed it. Easy...Saw maybe 3 other shoppers in the entire store. Also had several copies of the Lego games for WiiU and 3DS, I had Marvel Superheroes in my hands for awhile but after walking around the store thinking I ended up putting it back since I haven't really enjoyed those games in the past and have a huge backlog already.
Walked around seeing if any of the toys were still there for my DD, nope but found some of those myreaders books tucked away near a checkout terminal near the entrance - got a couple of those, self checked out, went to Target they didn't have what I wanted - used the same inventory checker on my phone except for Target saw instock at another Target. Went to the other Target got Mario Maker w/ Gift Card and a New 3DS XL (Black) applied GC to already discounted 3DS (Needed something to play the 3DS games I got at Walmart) and came home.
All in all a successful run. Just need to get Smash Bros for Wii U from Best Buy and I got all but 2 of the things on my Black Friday list. A play doh set for $10 and the Lego Duplo blocks for $30 I missed out on both at Walmart.
