Online item means someone bought it online, returned it to the store, and they marked a discount before putting it on the shelf.

While that is most likely true most of the time, my local target tends to mark many of its clearance items as online items.
I doubt someone is returning stacks of online orders of 2ds, classic nes & phone cases etc. at my target.

Haven’t kept up with this thread in awhile but found classic nes & 2ds on clearance at my local targets.

Am really suprised that with Twililght Princess HD and Huyrule Warriors 3ds coming out in the same month that there wasn't a couple different Zelda related ones coming out. Although since they are releasing them in lines now, I suppose we'll get a  huge Zelda line when the new game comes out.

Back Story: I bought Assassin's Creed Syndicate and Need for Speed at full price in the past 45 days. I'm Elite Plus. I ordered Need for Speed and Syndicate when they went on sale Monday morning for delivery. I got them today so I went in to return them for the price I bought them at earlier this month because no price adjustments this weekend blah blah. I took the time to print out the receipts (customer service pins) off My Best Buy account to make it easier for whoever I got as an associate.
 

 

That is impressively awful.  Returning at BB has been painless anytime I've had to do it, not that I've needed to do it often. Recently went to do a return of P4 dance all night LE after 30 days because the crushed box it came in was bugging me and the lady just casually scanned  everything without even saying a word and just tossed my already crushed item aside.

I did, Rogers!  I posted earlier, I was just going to post congrats for you, I was originally going to a few while routing my way to andover ( I thought someone mentioned they had 8, i must have gotten confused) glad I didn't after reading your post!

Anyways, good to see fellow mn cag'ers and nintenbros get hooked up.

Left my place at 7am, had a route sort of planned out where I would drive by to see if there was lines. Stopped by my local one which I assumed wouldn't be an option. There was 1 car there so I pulled up there and the third car got there at about 750 so we headed out to line up. 3 people 3 systems, success! One lady jetted past everyone to electronics like moments after the store opened and saw there was only 3 and ended up with disappointment.

Drove by the Northeast Minneapolis Target about two hours ago (2:00 a.m.) and didn't see anyone out front. Maybe it's the cold, maybe it's the overtly non-confrontational nature of Minnesotans, or maybe it's just too early, but I think this is Rosalina: round two. I had no problem grabbing Rosalinas from two local stores on release morning, and I didn't wait in line (one store had a limit, one didn't). I feel confident that I'll have a MM 3DS in hand this morning. 

 

Glad I got the day off and am up early.

It's interesting seeing the variance in helpfulness from the target employees. First place I stopped when I assumed would be my best shot as they still have some toon link amiibo and stuff. The electronics video game nerd guy was very evasive with all of his answers & just said they had a couple and that one of his amiibo guys was coming in to buy one. Stopping at the CS desk on the way out of the targets was much more useful as the older ladies just punched in the dpci # and told me stock.

Well damn it, I had hoped that living in MN it wouldn't be to hard to line one of these up in the morning. After all Target is based here, but it seems every target I checked had 3 systems with a few outliers only having 2 and a single store having 5... Ugh, I  really dislike best buy right now for canceling my pre-order. If any good samaritan ends up with an extra one I would pay a resonable amount over cost for it, although i suspect all you people with multiples have already been bombarded with pms.
