Yeah, like I said earlier, I actually prefer Sonic Racing Transformed to Mario Kart. Great game and even more awesome now at 60 FPS in Xbox.

In a year of stacked releases, I think Lies of P is actually a sleeper hit and I'm ready to call my GOTY. I wasn't expecting to feel the way I did with a game again like I did with Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, but they managed to not only copy the formula so well but also add mechanics and craft a world that's completely original for the theme. It plays asynchronous to Bloodborne in that it feels so familiar, but fresh all at the same time. I would say anyone waiting for Bloodborne II should be picking this up immediately, or try it on Game Pass. When this game goes on sale, I'm buying it.

 

I'm almost done with my first playthrough and I will definitely be hitting up NG+ for 100% and to experience it again. For context, I never finished Bloodborne because it was very heavy-handed about learning to use the gun and parry system, discouraging players from experimenting with pure dodge builds as they're not viable. Lies of P has a similar perfect block system, but is there only for people who want to exploit it with different builds/amulets. That's my kind of game where freedom of choice is designed from the ground up. It is in fact: better than Bloodborne.

 

But the absolute favorite part of this game for me? The Stalker costumes that allow you to assume the identity of those you slay, both for RP purposes but also in dialogue options for certain NPCs. You are in a sense either human, deciding your own fate and wearing a mask to hide the shame of true nature (robbing/stealing/murder) or you are a puppet; a slave to society, telling lies they want to hear. The devs clearly understood the source material and my god is it engrossing with food for thought.

 

Baldur's Gate 3 may still make it this year for Xbox but for me, the race for GOTY is over.

The option to upgrade to deluxe or ultimate in diablo 4 in game shop disappeared for me anyone else have this problem it was there a few days ago  

If anybody believes that then I got a submarine to sell you...
