It does have a bit of a 'meh' factor at first as the character switching gimmick is not anything to write home about. I honestly having one character, especially after Marcus from watch dogs 2 was such a great character.

However, the gameplay is pretty good and the graphics are phenomenal. Give it a chance it gets pretty intense and I actually found myself really enjoying it. I have not finished the game and I have not started the DLC. For $20 for a gold edition you can't really go wrong, if you like open world games at least. There's almost too much freedom in this game there are too many choices to tackle missions as there so many characters with unique abilities. I recommend doing some side missions and unlocking some of the skills and tools that all your characters get.

I found this game was much easier to play stealth than the recent Assassin's Creed games. So I played much of this like a modern day assassin's Creed game and it surprisingly was more enjoyable to me that way!

Pretty good deal. Game caught a lot of flack but its pretty great despite the character gimmick. Includes the Season Pass, which never goes on sale that I have seen. Reviews for the expansion are great, that is $15 itself so $5 more for the full game is a great deal!

For what it's worth, Bowser's Fury does look pretty sweet and they did increase the movement speed of characters in the switch version! There should definitely be some kind of discount for wii u version owners, but to millions of switch owners this is a brand new experience.

Tempted. I didn’t really like Origins combat and controls, would this be different?

I changed my controls on the last several AC games to old Assassin's Creed style and enjoyed all of them better that way. I just couldn't enjoy the trigger buttons for combat it never felt right to me. There are also a few abilities in Valhalla you can learn that allow you to play more traditional AC style. It's def worth the $35 if you're gonna play it right off. I got a disc copy but I'll be double dipping in March or April when the Gold Edition is $15-$20.

Got the cancellation email, said to keep the Kohl's cash but that has disappeared from my account. I'm throwing in the towel and just gonna let this shit play out. I'm sick of battling with bots over the stock and these resellers. I'll just wait until I can walk into a store and buy one off the shelf. First time in my life I have not been able to get a new console in the launch window. 25 years of console buying and never a shit show like this. Everyone has turned into a reseller it seems and there's all these bots snatching them up for reseller groups. There has to be a way to combat these bots and shit it's stupid that the people who actually want one of these consoles for personal use can't get one because of the resellers.

I do know somebody that bought two of them but he wouldn't sell me the other one for less than $800 and he only got that because his brother-in-law is one of the managers at our local Walmart.

If gaming is stressing you out, stop for now. Play something else. This is a hobby that should be a comfort thing that brings you some form of happiness. If you’re not enjoying AC, put it down and play something else.

I think it just stressed me because I had been so close to getting my order through on so many different occasions and the same thing happened each time. This whole online ordering process is annoying, I actually miss the waiting with peers at midnight launch parties. The whole new console generation vibe is just off this year I guess and Covid fatigue is setting in.

I've struck out everywhere in my quest for a Series X. Went oos during check out at Target,Walmart,Amazon and MSStore at various times the last couple days. Anyone know if these will be sold in store or restocked anywhere soon? I'm playing AC Valhalla on my One X but can't quite enjoy it as I know a better version is within reach. I'm trying but I have this overwhelming feeling of dread, like I'm doing myself a disservice by not playing it how it's intended. This is the first time I haven't gotten an Xbox day one and it's kinda stressing me out.

ReCore for $5 is a pretty good deal! Game got no love but it's actually a pretty fun game that's totally different from just about anything else out there. Made by some good talent too, people who worked on the Metroid Prime games and some former Capcom guys. Check it out if your looking for something new and dig a little sci fi. I had a blast with it!

The infamous games are highly underrated! Second Son was an amazing early PS4 game and I can't wait to see what Sucker Punch has been able to wring out of the PS4 with Ghost of Tsushima! I don't think that studio gets enough love either. everything they've put out has been fantastic, not a single blemish in their portfolio.

Still don't know why there's a Just Cause 4 Complete and Gold edition. Regardless, 75% off or more then I'll bite!

Complete Edition has the season pass all of the black market dlc included. This includes the mech, the jet pack for your wingsuit, some militarized aircraft and some nice explosive weaponry. I think it's worth the extra few bucks for that stuff. There's alot of content for $20 and I had a blast with it. Highly recommend the complete Edition if you like this kind of game!

I got a fat $3 as well. What they should do is look at all those who actually cashed or deposited their checks after the 60 days and give the rest of the money from those that didn't cash out. They do these small checks based on the available money vs how many valid claims were put through. If only a fraction of the $ is actually paid out after the 60 day limit they get to keep the rest! They should be forced to reallocate that $ to those who actually followed through!
