Every time GameStop's store locator shits a brick, I get a little more excited for their demise.

Why even bother shopping at GS?

Gamestop got into this mess because they treated their customers like they were mouth breathing morons that they could screw over and line thier pockets with thier money. Now, in order to get out of this mess, they've tripled down on treating customers like idiots who should just be happy with what they're given.

It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for them.

The percentage of total video game sales sold digitally has increased every single year since 2009 to 2020.

 

 This is the very definition of people are going digital more. 

The person is stating that this year's BF being lacking is a result of people going more digital when it's moreso stores clearing old gen inventory, something stores have been doing for months. That's not to say digital sales aren't increasing, but this year's BF sales aren't a result of that. Stores need space and don't want inventory that is going to sit. 

I might be wrong, but I don't think any of the launched PS5 games have CEs, do they? 

Only Sackboy if you count the PS4 version with the free upgrade

I'm not going to discuss the other issue because I said I was done, but I wasn't living with my parents (or should I say parent) by 14 to and was paying rent by the age of 15. I didn't bring things like that up because that wasn't pertinent to the point. Choices are though, and the choices we make end up defining us far more than the hands we are dealt.

The clearance K-Cups weren't for me by the way, they were for the people who work under my wife who just got a machine at work. It's a reward for good behavior thing, I tend to drink water. I agree they're wasteful, having said that, if you are going to buy them it's a good choice to get them cheaper.

What I'm a bit confused by is the idea that there are people here posting that they don't like shopping at Walmart, or indicating that they don't go into the store. That befuddles me considering the fact that Walmart clearance deals are almost YMMV and stock is regularly incorrect. If you don't want to go into a Walmart store how did you end up here? To that end, I fail to see how anyone could take a comment specifically directed at people making bad financial choices, as being directed to them, someone who takes the care to shop for deals and peruse a deal forum. If you're too lazy to shop for deals you probably wouldn't be here. If I wanted to direct a comment specifically at someone, I would do so.

I have social anxiety. I had a mental breakdown years ago, went to a therapist and took anti-anxiety pills to go outside. This is not a legitimate issue. Nobody ever attacked me in a grocery store during that time, nobody stopped me to talk to me. People barely even looked at me. Anyone believing their social anxiety is so severe that they can't even be in a store with other people who are minding their own business need to seek help instead of pandering to their insecurities by allowing the people they are avoiding to choose their fucking groceries for them. People have to help themselves.

How are you too busy? Do you work three jobs? If you don't, then you're not too busy. I have a full-time job and a side job, and I manage it just fine. Have kids? Great. Take your kids to the store. Connecting with them and teaching them about the world and preparing them for adulthood is your responsibility, and grocery shopping is a good way to do this.

It takes them half an hour to get your grocery shopping done, might take you an hour. That's hardly any time at all over the span of a week. Y'all spend more time in a week searching Bing for spare pennies.

How about somebody with severe ptsd? Am I ok enough to have shit delivered or am I garbage anyway based upon your standards? Do I need to go into detail how even with my service dog grocery shopping around people freaks me the eff out? Maybe your experience with mental health was minimal but don't sit on a video game deal thread and talk nonsense about mental health, how we"should" deal with it or why people have to justify a delivery service. Take that judgmental shit somewhere else

wow I just called Target in East Saint Paul and the nice girl said "I hope it's not about the Eevee bundle" and that she's had four calls already this morning.

Update (8/22/17 6:25pm ET): Looks like pre-orders are done for most major retailers today. I will leave this thread up for anyone to post available restocks/new preorders. I hope this thread along with the CAG community helped made it at least a little easier to get the SNES Classic.

Looks like GS is getting some RE7 CE in late. It is finally popping up on my radar. Sorry doesn't seem they have any

So I got results back for every store in the country and only 23 have "Low Stock" (1-2) of the CE right now.

 

So these are all gone locally. Then again since I'm in so cal it's not a big surprise.
