What's the cheapest mass effect andromeda been? My ea access ends soon and don't see playing it right away.

If you want digital, it usually goes on sale for for $9 regular/$12 deluxe, so it being $7.50/$9 is better than it has been.

The Bioware Bundle is your best deal all around if you're a fan of the company though. At $11.99 right now, you get the GOTY version of Dragon Age Inquisition and the Deluxe version of Mass Effect Andromeda.

I'm not really sure how you guys and gals can do these kinds of things every day. It seems like a lot of work and a bunch of different hoops you need to jump through in order to get these points. Do a certain amount of searches on an app and then get on your Xbox and play a bunch of certain games and then click on some other things etc.

How long do you usually spend every day getting these points? People have gotten 30000 points or whatever this month alone and I'm wondering just how many hours they have spent doing this.

It really doesn't take long for most of the quests. If you have a basic achievement quest for any game, you just have to know which games will yield easy and quick achievements. Or just play something you've been wanting to play, and achievements tend to come naturally. I ignore most of the online only achievements and still usually get the 1000 point completionist reward.

Some are more trouble than others though. The Elder Scrolls online achievements come to mind. Would rather have replayed Skyrim. Most of the achievement-based quests are being replaced by specific in-game actions, which is extremely helpful for those who like to complete the games they play.

Searching for the day only takes about 5 minutes though. All in all though, you could probably average less than 15 minutes a day and complete the majority of given quests.

I’m in for Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 Deluxe at 17.50

Man, now I wish I would have bit on the PS4 $11.49 deal awhile back.

Has anyone played the original Costume Quest’s DLC? I actually really liked CQ2 but never played the first. I’ve been waiting to play the original game once it went BC but was not sure if the DLC was important in a run through. Doesn’t seem like the DLC goes on sale ever.

It's short but enjoyable. It's just really more of the same gameplay in a new snowy level and helps to add some additional lore. Not sure it's worth the $5 considering the amount of content. Maybe the BC transition will prompt a sale soon though.

Did amazon change the rules of their promotional credit? Just tried to buy a $25 Xbox card and only $8 of my 27 balance will apply.

Yeah. No more use on video games for the No-rush credits. I thought maybe they wouldn't include the money cards being excluded alongside the game codes, but I now see that won't be the case. Ugh. Guess I'll have to pick a book or movie with my credits now.

Looking for some help on spending the rest of my MS credit (approx. $48).  I've narrowed it down to a few options:

A) Doom/Wolf 2 Bundle + 3 months Game Pass

B) Extend Gold for another year (currently expires 4/19) + Titanfall 2 or DE:HR

C) Save credit and hope that Nier: Automata goes on sale somewhat soon

D) Save credit for BF/Winter sale

So far, I've picked up Lego Star Wars: TFA (my 5yr old is obsessed with Lego Star Wars games), a re-buy of Pillars of Eternity and a pre-order of No Man's Sky.

I don't think you'd regret Doom/Wolfenstein. Great games. It's tempting for me despite owning both physical copies (their reverse artwork is awesome). You should really Bing though, take care of that Gold membership with daily web browsing.

Looking at PS games, they get one good game this month out of six.

I see at least 3 good ones. Too bad Zero Escape is not a cross-buy though.

On the Major Nelson list of digital games for sale, what does Arcade and Games On Demand mean?

Because others are clearly called Backward Compatible, so when I started buying games, I thought the ones listed as arcade or games on demand meant they weren't BC, but now I see that's not always the case.

I'm just kinda confused, I want Modern Warfare 3 but it's listed as games on demand and I didn't notice it on store parser when the sale hit...

If you look here, they are classified in further detail. Games on Demand was 360 speak for full games on the marketplace that usually had a disc version as well. Arcade were closer to Indie-ish releases that were often only in digital format. Of course, there are exceptions due to price-based decisions and region-based content.

Deus Ex Mankind Divided Digital Deluxe or Just Cause 3 XL? Same price, same discount, even same publisher (but different developers). Only have enough money for one of 'em. Anybody played both and want to offer their take on which is a better value, i.e. P/E (Price/Enjoyment) ratio?  :-k

I think that depends on your style. With Deus Ex, you can play very tactically, using stealth based tactics or go in guns blazing. It's a fairly versatile game. With Just Cause 3 XL, you can be pretty much Iron Man with the glider suit, flying around blowing up pretty much everything. They are both great games. I think Just Cause is a tad more likely to hold onto it's value though since Deus Ex's price has been on a solid downfall since release.

The DLC is usually a bit cheaper for Deus Ex if you have to end up buying it separate. I foresee both eventually going Games with Gold since they have both made the rounds on PS Plus. If you're set on choosing one though, I'd weigh tactical shooter vs. mostly mindless fun. Which do you prefer?

I already have Web Of Shadows, so if you had to pick between Edge Of Time
and Shattered Dimensions which would you go with? Or are both of them garbage?

Shattered Dimensions was one of my favorite Spider-man games, especially the Noir section of the game. The game really has a nice change of pace with the switching of characters that keeps everything fresh. Edge of time feels pretty repetitive in comparison.
