After nearly a month of being told a refund would be received for a lost same-day delivery order in "3-5 business days", today I'm being told something like I have to physically visit the store where my item was originally located in order to get a refund. I can't even get through to that store on the phone. Is this shit for real???

Happened to me - I called until one of them fixed it. The idiot decides to refund me in GS credit instead of charging it back to my credit card. I was pretty livid - but I just took the L and spent it on something

My order (which was for same-day delivery on 12/3 through Doordash) is still marked as "shipped" when I view it online. Do you remember if the status was ever updated online when you requested your refund? Right now the only evidence that my refund has been processed comes from the mouth of somebody in a call center.

If you paid with a cc, you could file a chargeback.

Thanks! it was a debit card.

 

Edit: OK, looked into it. It actually says "Credit card VISA" under payment method on my order (though I used my bank debit card.) Does this mean it went through as a credit card purchase?

Still haven't received a refund for a same-day delivery order that was lost on 12/3. Got nowhere with standard customer service and just filed a BBB complaint. What other options do I have?

If you're (allegedly) getting refunded for an item that was never delivered, is there supposed to be any indication of this in your order history? (This was a same-day delivery and it's still marked as "shipped")
