The idea that Fred not paying his bills so now you get charged $11k instead of $10k is based on the naive notion that they wouldn't be charging $11k if they thought they could get away it it otherwise. They're already charging what they think they can get away with before hitting a tipping point of too many people not paying. They already expect you to be willing/able to pay $11k and they're not going to leave that on the table just because Fred is also giving them money -- they'll just happily take more money.

No one is saying "Well, we could get $11k from this guy but Fred pays HIS bills so we don't really NEED it... let's just charge $10k". You're gonna get hit for whatever they think the market will bear. Capitalism Ho!

They milking my as, they also lied, I asked was the CT scan would be thousands she said no but the bill said otherwise. Get billed so much for a quick ER visit which they pretty much did nothing.

All the games that got marked down back in Sept and October last year are still marked down with the same price if you can find them. I believe after all the this time I actually havent seen these games at all. I was lucky last year with dmc and nioh 2 but I havent seen them at all. I think I still see 2 of the other games other then that they dont sell them no mo which why guess they really did wanted to get rid of them forever.
Im just waiting for more that low of price, scarlet nexus is $25 and I think tales of arise is $35 but maybe one day they try to get rid of them and they go below $10

Thanks, cant believe they give out a free game every 2 weeks. Pc catalog is rising without even having a gaming PC.

I just wanna see games going down to $3.50 or anything under $9 like the nioh collection and such last year. That was crazy clearance would love for scarlet and tales of arise as well as Sony exclusives to do that. Those deals were like everywhere and singled out.

Integrated-GPU's dip into your main RAM's pool, which definitely won't help matters, as you have only 4GB RAM - ouch. You're best off, having a real discrete mobile GPU in there - so you can have separate RAM buffers and VRAM buffers.

That game from 2021 flat-out requires GPU-wise a GTX 660 and recommends a 1060 card (which come in 3gb or 6gb VRAM flavors). In other words, it's basically 1060 card or better...or bust. You ain't gotta chance w/ that UHD 610 laptop unfortunately.

Heck, you'd be even better off w/ "meh" budget GTX 1650's or RTX 3050's than using any Intel integrated-GPU junk. And honestly, the budget xx50's ain't so hot either from Nvidia, as those lack VRAM w/ only even having a low 4GB VRAM on their GPU's respectively.

If you're playing stuff on that laptop - you should be playing old stuff or Indies that won't require the moon. Think stuff like Hotline Miami games. Think stuff like old games like NWN2, Arcanum, Fallout 1 and 2, etc etc.

EDIT - I get that you don't wanna spend $ and you got all these F2P games and probably stuff you grabbed from Epic for free - but to do modern PC gaming, it's all about having the $ here. You spend the $ on the hardware b/c you really have no choice, if you wanna do this right - so you've got to at least have a 4-6GB VRAM discrete GPU for modern games like Honkai. And if you play the cards right, you won't spend a ton on games or much at all; especially hanging out and watching deals on sites like CAG here, Slickdeals, and Reddit.

You can blame that on the early celebration. Same thing happen with Madden they celebrated him with a special on tv and then he died right after.

I just started using steam, apparently I been had an account for years and didn't even know it. Apparently I have free games oddworld amd fallout which I dont remember. Now I'm regretting not getting other free games while they were free. Then again I dont even have a gaming PC just a basic laptop that runs mobile game. I just wanna play that bloody spell

I didnt get anything but a ps+ sub. I did get nioh collection and dmc at Wal-Mart clearance before black Friday which all I need at the moment. Lets be honest you guys just added your buys to your back logs which wont be playing any time soon. Anyways after experiencing walmart clearance makes me wanna wait for those for now on.

So I went hunting for New Super Lucky's Tale (Switch) at two Walmart stores that Brickseek shows as having it in stock. Long post alert.

Store 1: Went in the day before Thanksgiving, BS shows they have 3 or 4 copies. Had to grab a few things while there so I did that first. After looking through the case, I go to the register and ask if the have it. Employee said if it's not in the case, then probably not. He then asks me what the name of the game is and is it the (one) with the little fox. I say yes and he looks through a box of games in the locked cages. Clearance games are locked up there due to theft. No dice. I see more Switch games on the shelves in the cage. I don't bother asking because I'm pressed for time and gotta start cooking for Thanksgiving. He asks if I had tried Gamestop, tell him yes and it's $35. Move on feeling a bit bummed.

Store 2: Brickseek shows "limited stock" meaning they may have 1 or 2 copies in stock. Go there today to check if they do indeed have it. There's only one employee working in electronics and he's running in circles trying to help people in line. Before getting in line, I check the cases and don't see it. After waiting in line for bit I finally get the chance to ask if they have it. He pulls it up on his phone and starts looking for it. After checking the case he comes back to the registers and checks a couple of drawers to no avail. He says that it shows they have 2 in stock but doesn't know where they could possibly be. I leave and have given up on looking for it.

That happens, cant 100% trust brickseek on inventory. Stores that suppose to have some in dont and the ones that suppose to not have some has them. Maybe check the ones that says out of stock or something

Can't speak to Nier, but someone posted $25 for Scarlet Nexus in this thread earlier in the week, and I found it for $20 when I went.

I said it like last week. Besides it'll probably down to that on black Friday maybe
