I came to this topic for salty gamers.
I'm leaving satisfied.

I understand that some people may go through hard times and a lowball like this can be hectic and unorganized at times... but if you anticipate that to be the case then there is no way that you should be asking for people to gift you the money. That alone had me weary from the get-go but at this point I really just hope we get this resolved.

Yeah, if someone wants to make some bucks on a pre-order it's their personal initiative.
If someone wants to sell it to another CAGer with a slight markup for efforts and gas it's also their initiative and I'm sure there'd be a bunch of CAGers interested (nudge nudge )

Rare is a pretty fair term to exchange with expensive. Unless something came out at an exorbitant MSRP, it's only expensive if it's rare. Honestly, though, you come off as the type that would insist it's not rare as long as there are a few on ebay--even if priced $5k a pop. I feel like we're all just feeding a troll. 5000 units in existence, sold exclusively at a publisher's online store, sold out, no chance of finding in the wild, and the reseller market will dwindle when all the copies bought to flip go to people that actually want the item. What the
are you even arguing about?
Was going to write something like this but you hit the nail on the head... If having one copy of this on Ebay makes it "not rare" there aren't many rare video games out there altogether.

Well it's about fucking time. Overall I got 400 bucks for 13 sealed copies of PS3 COD Ghosts"
Slammed.
I'm glad I was able to get this username before him, he'd probably be trying to flip it for profit

That all goes back into "buying a ton of games at launch" post, since very few collector's editions seem to survive past maybe one price drop. Though how you say that brings them close to the standard releases is beyond me, since I don't think I've ever bought a CE under $100 which is still a $20 difference.
If you find yourself buying a ton of CE's then yeah it's certainly worth $60, I don't think anybody will debate that. But if the goal is to get your games as cheaply as possible then CE's aren't practical and neither is GCU for that matter.

Holy crap, thank you for saving me the trouble. (Fellow LIer here). What the
is with LI and lack of trade-in programs? We only got a trade-in program at Best Buy like a year ago.. Is it because there's a lot of CAGs/hoarders on the Island or what? I remember Best Buy saying they needed some special state license for trade-ins (which they eventually got).
I gave the lady at my store a look like she just didn't know what she was talking about and questioned her a few times because I thought every wal-mart was participating... She said that many stores in the north weren't able to get a license to accept trades? I don't know if that's true or not but I went to Wal-mart's site on my mobile and confirmed that the closest store for trade-ins is in Connecticut.
Also, I'm too lazy to do it by mail, so dead end at wal-mart lol

Learned the hard way that no Wal-Marts in my area are accepting trade-ins...
Bought 2 copies of Gears of War for the quick turnover and got denied. Got my money back but just a disappointment.
Apparently NO Wal-Marts on Long Island are accepting trade-ins. Wah-wah

Tried returning a XBONE bundle I bought after a PS4 flip today, employees spent like 10min analyzing my receipt and said I couldn't because they would need to override to take away the bonus I got on the PS4.....
I told them not to worry about it, drove 7min over to a different store, returned without any issues, took less than 4min
I'd fill-out a poor survey for that employee/store... denying a valid return is pretty shit

I've got a junior detective on my tail. Problem is he's the district manager. I need him gone. It's been months that he's had it out for me. He perma-banned one of my accounts for trades. I can't trade anymore with it. Been like that for about 2 months. Not only that, but he's told some of his peons to reject all my trades even with another rewards card. I can't take it anymore. Anybody got any advice?
move to another state, duh
