#14219746 Humble Bundle Thread

my guess for the change would be key resellers (moreso than traders). You see a ton of extra keys pop up on g2a and the like each bundle, which, from the dev perspective, is kind of frustrating. And it probably also aligns with however they currently pay out to the publishers.

Still, $132 is a really, really good deal based on almost every month to date. You almost always get a great game that by itself has never been less than $12, and almost all of the games always have really good reviews, with a mix of genre types. Not to defend ign, but developers seem to like how humble pays them

went with the colossus bundle, since ash of gods by itself for $5 I would have got on a steam sale.

Used the 10% coupon to get the lego mix bundle (ninjago, marvel superheroes 2 and lego world) for $10.79

and rolled the dice on the mystery bundle for $6.29-

Funk of Titans; Never Alone; Homeworld Remastered Collection; kotor; Monster Slayers; PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate; Songbringer; Shadow of War; Super Cloudbuilt; DreamBreak

came out way ahead with the midde earth game

nice they keep giving a 10% coupon after each purchase

#13955548 PSN Weekly Deals - 4/10: Rockstar Sale! $20 Owlboy, $14 Aegis D...

Fair they are giving a full year notice so subscribers aren't mislead.
Seems this signals the Vita will not be supported much longer and sony will be out of the handheld market
Disappointing there won't be the extra ps4 games via crossbuy. But there are not many good ps3 games out there left that have not been part of ps plus.
Titan Souls, LittleBigPlanet 3,Tearaway, Tales from Borderlands, Lovers in Dangerous Spacetime, Abzu, Life is Strange, Just Cause 3, Downwell, Infamous Second Son, Phantom Pain
That's a solid list of titles for 2017 for ~$45-50 a year sub costs.
Not sure I understand people compaining about the value of the program.

It's weird that trump's election is somehow a repudiation of the status quo. Republican leaders in congress are eagerly looking forward to working with him to pass their agenda, much of which will be an even more conservative version of the failed policies of Bush2 that crippled the country.

Unless the status quo is adhering to civil discourse, basic levels of human decency, kindness for others and the ability to string multiple sentences together without veering into personal vendettas, conspiracy theories or shocking falsehoods.

Then yeah, that status quo is gone, maybe it's never coming back.

@Syntax Error

Not taking anything away from how you chose to play. But strongly recommend for others not cheating on a first playthrough. It's a game about consequences, item collection and task management  is merely the vehicle through which those decisions are parsed. Juggling the balance of getting people healthy/fed/protected IS the horrors of war in this game. It's like Graveyard of the Fireflies, the aftermath of war is harrowing, unpredictable and brutal.

#13006676 $15 off $50 at Amazon by using Amex membership rewards.

Posted by vherub on 04 November 2015 - 09:15 PM

Keep in mind the amex points for amazon credit isn't a 1:1 exchange rate.

A $35 dollar item on Amazon would normally cost 50,000 points.

So a person is better off using 50,000 points to get a $50 gift card at a retail store.

I'm not a PC gamer so forgive the noob question but how come those games ran like shit on PC? I thought Xbox One and PS4 were heralded for being close to PCs, making porting to PC a cinch. It sounds like those games are virtually unplayable.

Also keep in mind, the port team is often an outside dev or the inhouse b team, especially if the sales forecast suggests pc is a smaller factor. More importantly, with the console, you are working with a pretty stable (and known) hardware/software environment. With the pc, you have two major video card manufacturers with various card architectures, multiple Windows OS versions to support, not to mention CPU/Mobo/RAM variants. It can be difficult to optimize even when PC is the lead. And then if 5%-15% of the user base has a broken experience, you can't write them off as edge cases as that broken experience will become the internet's collective reaction.
