Call me a puss but I am afraid to mess I nintendo eshop ..... i dont want to lose anything by manipulating their carts, because nintendo is very loose until the point of being strict,- then you’ll see a real hell blade lol
But thanks for the idea OP, some people willing to risk it obviously appreciate it even more...
I've bought about 6 games from the mex eshop with zero issue. Don't forget to use a zip code from a tax free state if you're buying in the US.

What about the gold coins? Do they stay or reset?
Every time I visit Mexico I always clear my credit first. Never thought to look at the gold coins, and since I have a bunch atm..
You accumulate separate gold coins for whatever region you switch to. They stay there.

Kroger in Michigan has them 4 for $8 with a free gallon of milk. Pits them at 1.25 per box if you subtract the cost of the milk. Bought 17 boxes at 3 different stores.
Where about in Michigan SHELLS? I'm in the metro area. Only found ONE box at Walmart.

Retron 5 gets a lot of hate (some deserved) but I really like mine. The second batch of Retron 5's fixed the pins issue and the updates have made the system awesome for people who have little space and want to play older games on a modern tv. The retron allows for patching so I can but famicom version of rpgs and still be able to play them in english for a fraction of the cost of getting the snes version. Here's me playing Chrono Trigger which I pad $8 for
Any links on how to get it patched up?
