#12703897 XBL Deals - DwG: Dragon Age, Dragon Ball, Metal Gear Solid, more | GwG: Cas...

Sort of unrelated, but I hate X1 games that record pointless crap every single time. Yeah, I get it FIFA, I scored by jumping a defender or two. I know Angry Birds, the laser hit a pig, big deal the 20th time I see it. I get it Battlefield, I leveled up, but why is this something I want to watch again? Fine Screamride, a building went down, but that happens just about every level, deal with it. I feel that games don't use the auto-DVR feature well at all, and it just becomes a pain in the arse to go through all my vids and delete what I don't need - because occasionally it might record something interesting, so I even tend to double check.

They had a survey about it in preview dashboard. Probably will be optional soon.

That top pvp achievement in ESO is bs. Encourages boosting, cheating, and/or quitting your job.

Unity isn't a bad game now. Had problems at launch. I think their racing game is much worse.

Witcher 3 is great for screenshots.

I'm about halfway through my second play through of Mega Coin Squad. The game is really short, but also fun. If you have friends to play local co-op with, replay value goes up a lot. If not, I'd wait for a sale if you don't like replaying the same levels multiple times.

There are some performance issues that can make getting all the gems or not dying achievements frustratingly difficult. They aren't frequent at first. They get worse as you progress.

Being "great" at MKX is basically spamming the same moveset, so criticizing another player for the same strategy you, yourself, employed is a bit hypocritical, no?   And Cassie Cage is one of the easier characters to chain combos together with, while the Slasher Jason variant is one of the harder ones to play effectively (per the developers) unless you spam.

The problem is that Jason can do a ton of damage off a really easy and no meter combo that is easy to do with the crappy online. Other characters have combos that can't do as high damage combos that are also near impossible to do online. People take advantage of the crappy online play and just spam stuff. Offline, you can easily punish their bs. Thanks to the netcode, it is near impossible.

He's been free all week, but big news sites are just picking up on it now. I think all dlc characters are free for the week they launch.

Too many stolen games with fake reviews in top free section. Time to go back to only downloading xbl games

Thanks to MCC, I have more interest in getting the games one at a time as long as they aren't priced $60 each.

EastX is giving away 15 Terraria codes for Xbox One tonight (8pm cst). Few for Steam and Sony systems as well.

Shadow Jago in Killer Instinct will be getting his own moveset. Only took 3 days for them to reach $100,000. This should also help with Season 3 becoming real.

Quick warning about new games that came out in the past week. Many of them are a scam. Here is how to spot one of these apps. If you recognize a few of these in a game store listing, stay away.

- Over 200 reviews in the New + Rising section (starting to trickle into Top Free)
- Almost no negative reviews
- Reviews have nothing to do with the game. For example a tower defense game with a review that talks about how similar it is to 2048 or an interactive novel.
- Check other games with high reviews in New + Rising. Look for duplicates. Several of the games have the 2048 review and Zombie High (interactive novel) with the exact wording.
- Reviews like djehsvwub7$(2()2)
-Reviews that talk about how terrible the game is, but still give it 5 stars. Example "Game crashes instantly." With 5 stars
- Requires access to almost everything on your phone
-Publisher has only 1 published game
- Title screenshots have a different name than listed in the marketplace
- The game looks exactly the same as another game you've played (stolen)

I first noticed this with Demon Defense. They stole Castle Mine and used a ton of fake reviews. I contacted Mugshot Games to let them know. They replied the next day saying that they intend to tale action. I'll be checking daily to see if it gets removed.

The other games loaded with fake reviews might be stolen versions of games that I haven't played yet. Microsoft needs to step up and stop this before it starts spreading like the emulator games.

I can't even bother trying to go back to play N64 games. In their time, they were wonderful. I still remember the first time seeing Mario 64 at a local import game shop....it was one of those crazy, magical kid memories. Or playing hours upon hours of Mario Kart 64, or Ocarina or Time.....great stuff. But they just do not hold up today. I find that anything from the Saturn/N64/PSX era are largely unplayable for me. I can happily do 8 bit or 16 bit, then skip to the Dreamcast/PS2/Xbox/Gamecube era. But, you gotta have some heavy duty prescription grade rose colored graphics to play N64 games today and enjoy yourself.

If you can, hey, more power to ya. Seriously, I'm probably a little envious.

Even original Xbox games are iffy. Flip flopping graphics in MCC collection for Halo 1 and 2 show how large the improvements are. Everything used to be so dark.

All this Grass Simulator talk and no complaints about devs getting the power to game ban whoever they want. Do you think this will be a problem based on previous dev experiences? I'm sure there will be a few incidents of a smaller dev banning people that leave bad reviews, but hopefully they'll be extremely rare and the community steps up to call out their shit.

Got through two of the bosses on Shovel Knight. That is a fun little game. Was looking at the achievements. Beat the game without dying seems super tough.

You might be able to cheese it like in Ori. Make a copy of your save after every level without a death. Load the copy if you die. Still challenging, but not impossible. Probably good to do the break all checkpoints achievement at the same time.

Dead Rising 3's season pass doesnt include the Street Fighter DLC does it?

You are correct. Season pass does not include the Street Fighter DLC.

Ah so CastleStorm is a TD game.

A TD game and a cheating pool game are the GWG titles for Xbox One. And things are back to normal.

I would have preferred a TD game, but the only one on X1 is Defense Grid 2 (already own it).

So I'm wondering what exactly you're missing from RAID Mode if you only buy episode 1 and not the rest. Obviously you're missing the DLC costumes/characters/maps, but anything else?

You'll be missing some characters that are unlocked by playing through the main story. 6 are available with Episode 1. So you'd also be missing character specific skills, which isn't a big deal.

EastX just wrote about this at WC
http://www.windowsce...ons-2-raid-mode

EDIT: Some people are saying you don't get all the levels. Still worth it for the levels that you do get for $3
