Anyone in a battlefront party? I just got off of work.

Has anyone seen It Follows? I'm about to watch it even though I scare easily. Heard good stuff about it.
Horror movies: Sacrifice the virgin or have sex and die.
We just can't win!
Not really scary but really fucking good.
Like contender for my favorite movie of the year good.

I haven't done any additional playthroughs yet but I did go back to chapter 3 after I finished the game to pick up the first two collectibles that I missed and it felt like watching a wedding on youtube. I just couldn't be less interested. I'll definitely have some trophy shame if I try finishing up the 6 or 7 collectibles I'm missing tonight.
Oh well I mean I didn't have to do it as in I let my friend play through it. He doesn't collect trophies but he's really anal about completing everything like Gator so I let him have a go at it since I was already worn out.

While I do agree Heavy Rain was better (well I actually enjoyed Indigo Prophecy the most) I still really enjoyed playing through Until Dawn.
Also I didn't have to do the collect all collectibles playthrough so I didn't feel worn out with multiple playthroughs.

Cubs vs. Cardinals yuck. Good news is one of them will lose, bad news is one of them will win. I wanted a Pirates and Astros WS.
Well if it isn't us I want the Astros to go to WS.
I actually got the killer tickets for Sundays game so hopefully we don't get blown out that day.

that review guardian posted is pretty good (and looong). sounds like a 4-5 hour campaign plus challenge rooms. it definitely looks like fun. all those higher difficulty+no damage trophies are probably pretty tough based on what I've seen but if the dodge/parry mechanic works well enough it should be fun to try.
Yeah combat works really well but hard + no damage is looking to be pretty insane right about now.
Also one negative you could say is that there are a lot of recycled environments
Oh and a lot of collectibles. I know people love that.

Did Pancakes say anymore about Transformers? I'm hoping he's been playing since midnight so he can give me a thorough review before I go and do my shopping after work. I can't imagine feeling too burned by this one just watching the gameplay. I also got a Bayonetta vibe from it, making it much more likely that I snatch it up.
Sorry I didn't get that far. I passed out from a 12 hour shift. I probably only played an hour so far.
Besides digging the gameplay, I really, really love the loot system. You can find common, uncommon, rare (I haven't got one yet but I assume there is on) weapons and you can even combine them to level them up. You can also raise the skills for the characters and buy skill attachments which increase things such as character health, loot drop, attack, etc.
In the first chapter (or am on two it doesn't really tell me), it is actually a lot less linear than I thought it was be. There seems to be multiple paths to get to your objective which is kind of cool.

Seriously...I mean you can hope Wilson has an off night but that's a pretty shitty break for you. Even I feel a little bad about it!
Also is there really someone in our league named Eddie Chang? That's pretty cool.
Not sure where you see "Eddie" but yeah that's me.
CAG football league hates me.
Next time try getting the highest score of the week so you'll win for sure.

Anyone know when to expect reviews for Transformers Devastation? Hoping Activision didn't do what they did for Tony Hawk and not send any review copies out until release day. Hoping to decide on it by tomorrow so I can potentially pick it up while I'm getting Rock Band.
Damn reviews coming out release day is never a good sign but this is platinum games so it shouldn't be anywhere near the crap that is Tony Hawk.
