But, first hour or so, right out the gate - the storytelling; world-building; and character stuff seems really strong here.

More to come, when I give this one more time.

One of the few games on the PS4 that I took the time to play, beat, and then unlock everything.  Once the story clicked, it clicked.  Until then, it was a bit slow.

Bought Spelunky 2 earlier today. Put in about three hours so far. Maybe it's just because I'm not accustomed to all the new enemies and traps yet but it's been noticeably more difficult than the original. I really missed this slow, rewarding sense of progression that I got from the first game. There's so many new mechanics that it's almost like learning how to play all over again. I love it.

I'm too busy watching the crap show debate.  The whole thing is making me laugh.  Can't focus.  Maybe tomm.

I think I'll sacrifice myself to Spelunky 2 for your bundle-rs.

I'm on the fence about writing reviews at this point. It's starting to feel like masturbating, only less fun and just as depressing. I will just toss this out there: Beyond Blue is good for that subset of you who spend hours of your lives watching David Attenborough documentaries (that's me).

No worries, I bought it because I loved Endless Ocean 1/2.  My gripe is that it was too short and that's cataloging all the animals and getting Platinum.  But I support games like this (at full price) precisely because I want games like this to exist.

Sooooooo it took almost an hour to hunt down what system I beat Spelunky on... (PS3/4)  I REALLY loved that game.  So now I have to decide with me likely going PS5 (and skipping Xbox Series X for now) if I want to get Spelunky 2 on Steam (where I didn't beat the first one, even though I somehow own it on Steam) or on the PSx.

I really enjoyed that game.  Early reviews are all good.  If you liked the OG, you'll like the new one.

Yeah, it should at least be all the EA games shown here. Not sure if that will include the third party stuff as well.

More cool news: Tetris Effect: Connected launches on Game Pass November 10th.

I have thoroughly LOVED Tetris Effect on my Oculus.  The music is fantastic.  The last level though... even on Easy.. 2 nights later I feel like I accomplished something when I beat it.

I like my games cheap precisely BECAUSE I upgrade and stay on the tip top of upgraded cards.  Laptop, Desktop, Rift, Rift Quest.

Anyone else bite on the 50% Stranded Sails?  Started it this afternoon and it's starting very slow.

It's funny listening to ya'll banter back and forth about video cards when I remember having to buy an audio card just to get things to work properly.  Granted it only set me back $150 back then.... but that was something.

My first was a x286 upgraded to a 486DX2 which I then bought a Pentium 90 kit for about $200 to upgrade back in the day.  I remember seeing a 16Mb stick of RAM and drooling (it was around 4-500 at the time).

The premium battle passes for the 6 starting heroes are free and can earn you 1000 credits each, so basically if you just play the game you'll never have to pay for future passes.

I remember them saying that in the new Star Wars Battlefront game, I think the calculation was you'd have to play like 40 hrs a day for 10 years to get it all without spending extra.  ;P

I'm more confused by the 10,000+ purchases of the Wiley How to be an Influencer bundle..... 10,000 people bought that shite.  If everyone is an influencer who are you influencing?  God I hate the way the internet is developing... let's start over.

You people are old.

And yet they can't make "new" GOOD games, they keep stealing our old 8-bit ones... so I think we see who is clearly superior ;)

I dunno, I'm playing the Spiderman game now on PS4 since I'm eagerly awaiting the MM one on PS5.  I gotta say, that game is awesome. (so far... 75% through, not started the DLC yet).  I WISH it came to PC though.
