Abusers ruined it for everybody. We had independent game shop owners coming in and buying the max amount of every big release (on multiple accounts) and they would return what didn't sell right before the 45 day return window was up.

Well, as far as I can tell, prices are up across the board due to the pandemic rolling over the globe, and not much more. I recently went to Amazon to buy some past products that have recently ran out, and 9 out of 10 items had price increases of about 3%-7%, many of which had been the same price or less for years. Now that's not to say they aren't gauging people, but if ink, soap, underwear, and washing machine cleaner are up in cost, it's safe to assume a video game produced in China is probably going to be costing more as well. And that goes for the cheap paper printed products they include in CE/SE as well, so higher prices shouldn't be a surprise to anyone(unless you haven't been paying attention).
Yep, they are paying pennies on the dollar for that shit service, and with USPS currently being held hostage by agent orange, shipping is only going to get worse through them for the foreseeable future. This wasn't the reason I stopped shopping with LRG, but it was for sure something I was well aware of due to my own shipping knowledge, and wasn't happy to support it. I got a free key-chain from them for my rewards tickets, and it cost about $6 in shipping, and took ages to arrive. I could have sent the same thing as they had for about $3.50, and it would have arrived in days Vs. weeks.
I'm sure they deal with a good share of loses, but they are making some serious change on that janky shipping method they use, but so is business I suppose. Dealing in the numbers they do, and depending on what they are paying the developers, they could be making more in the long run strictly from the extra cost being received with these poor shipping options.
Get a new hobby and move on if $6 shipping is this traumatizing for you.

It's been over 4 months since the Panzer Dragoon Remake pre-order and I've heard absolutely nothing about it since. I look it up every once in a while and keep coming up short.
Is this a normal occurrence with LRG? I've seen them announce/release all sorts of titles since then. The Panzer Dragoon Remake and Forever Entertainment Twitter accounts haven't shared any new info either.
Yes. Very...very...very common. Don't aak us how long we waited for Skullgirls.

Yeah I was on the sale page watching the timer count down with 10 minutes to go, then the timer ended with no add to cart button, 3 page refreshes to get the add to cart button, go directly to cart and hit PayPal, and by the time PayPal loads and I get in the LRG queue line it sells out.
There's a reason I never order from this fucking company unless it's an open preorder.

Luckily I avoided big spoilers by being very careful of what content I absorbed. I did know that the game was controversial and receiving some backlash. After finishing it I can honestly say that I don't know WTF these people are talking about and could't disagree more with the hate. Did we even play the same game?

UPS is better, but is also usually at least a 7 day wait time unless your order is shipped same state or you choose a faster shipping method. It should always say what carrier is taking it at the bottom of your GS tracking order number.
Also, everyone should know by now never to trust the delivery date.
