Half price books is price gouging. See some art books priced at 50 to 60 bucks. Wtf!

That, or maybe someone garbled their code and chanced upon yours. It's all extremely unlikely, but even extremely unlikely things happen across hundreds of millions of people.
I wouldn't let this deter you too much. I often hold onto hundreds of dollars worth of codes [I buy bulk when there is a good discount] and have never had a problem. Heck, I had like 3 or 4 years of ps+ cards from the target pricing error. I have like 5 $20 and 2 $25 cards for PSN on my shelf right now [plus other sites]. I don't like redeeming early because I find I spend it easier if it's sitting in there, and I like to have that extra step of 'using up' a card to know I want to buy something. The risk is so low it doesn't really faze me.
I assume you typed your code in like 3 times to make sure you're not dyslexic, right? Oh, and don't get me wrong, I'd be pissed off too if that happened to me. It would absolutely suck... I treat those cards like gold. Some people blow through space bucks like they're free, and I like to hoard them like they're better than cash for some reason.
Yes, I tried the code like 10 times. That's when I called Customer Service and read the code back to them and they confirmed that it was used a month prior. I asked them if they had any info of where it was redeemed or what account redeemed it. They said they don't see that information. They told me they can escalate it up to the research team but overall said the research team wouldn't do anything because I didn't have a receipt. I feel like I wasted too much time posting and calling about the issue for it to even be worth it. My times worth more than sitting on hold, etc. over 10 bucks that I got as a gift.

I know they had dark souls 2 for PS4. Definitely had dead rising for PS4 for 9.99, I picked up a copy. They had X1 headset for xone. Um, they had a bunch of other games that I can't recall.
Anyone looking for anything specific.

Any recommendations for VR games? I'm wanting batman, drive club, EVE. Also thinking about eagle flight and that rail shooter game. Any other recommendations?

Grabbed the last soundbar tonight.
16 Apple Watch bands for 5 dollars each. Turns out half were labeled incorrectly but the woman price matched all of them at 5 for me.
Grabbed about a dozen or so Samsung wireless charging devices for 5 each.
Grabbed a bamboo pen stylus for my iPad for 17
3tb harddrive for 50.

I'm already hooked on VR. I have 2 versions of the Gear VR. A note 4, Note 5, S6, as my mobile arsenal to power the Gear VR. The Gear VR works great as long as more and more games, experiences come out for it. I do think those mobile games are a little over priced. Actually a lot overpriced but that's another conversation.
It all boils down to the quality and resolution of the PSVR. It has to look practically next gen quality for me to be super excited. I hope it looks really, really good.
I'm eagerly awaiting my Phantom 3 drone being delivered this coming week. You're able to connect your Gear VR headset to your drone and get a first person experience where it feels like you're flying in the cockpit. It's going to be UNREAL!!!! Can't wait.

You got to know how to mingle the cellular companies.
I just got 2 LG G4's for absolutely nothing. I actually made money buying these two.
Purchased a Note 5 for little to nothing.
Purchased an S6 for 76 dollars.
Samsung also had promotions where I got 2 $50 Best Buy giftcards. a $100 certificate for the samsung store which I used to get a Gear VR for free. and I also got two holiday bundles $600 value for free which consisted of headphones, cell phone case, 2 portable quick chargers, 2 wireless quick charging pucks.
If you know how to work it, you won't be complaining about spending money on buying new devices....

I'd say it's people's unwillingness to read into the details which makes things more difficult. It's like seeing a sales price offered for a car, then going down to the dealership only to find out that you have to be a member of that particular dealership's car club in order to get the discount. Maybe these people only wanted one game, which would have made the cost of a 2-year membership a little difficult to swallow. There's also the fact that the membership was once four times the price it now is, which may have turned some people off to obtaining the membership initially. Furthermore, there's the fact that some people may not be close enough to a Best Buy or have the transportation in order to obtain the membership. Yes, you can buy the membership online, but you must go into a store to activate it.
The way that litepink laid it out is the way it should have been done. No one should assume that because we're CAG's that we are also members of GCU.
Not really. Fact of the matter it's laid out in the Original Post, "Prices after GCU" if people want to know what full price is, then do the research yourself is what I say. It's your problem for not having GCU at this point. Regardless of the weak excuse, everyone should have GCU, no questions asked....

My second video. Pretty happy with how this turned out and I cannot wait until next year. Season 3!!!
Also, a really nice write up about my video from the site "Welcome To Twin Peaks." He posted comparison shots of my vid versus the real intro, looks cool when you see them side by side.
Now I may be crazy for taking this on, but I think my next video is going to be.... MAD MAX FURY ROAD. that's going to be damn near impossible!

So I spent the last two weeks drawing, cutting and puppeteering paper to recreate Star Wars The Force Awakens trailer out of paper. I redid the score and dialog. Everything on this video is custom. Would love to share it with this community as I'm trying to get it out there and seen since I spent so much time on it. It's part of my new channel where I release Movie Trailers and Scenes out of nothing but paper. New video every other Monday.
Please let me know what you think and share around!
