The LG OLEDs however have incredible value. Wait? They've never been cheaper.
I'm not really in a rush to spend the money on a TV. I want to see if the C1s go even lower when the new 2022 LG models come out. If they do, I may pick one up. If they don't and all the C1s sell out then I'm fine with missing out.

You could add a 2-year Microsoft Complete for Xbox with Accidental Damage Coverage extended warranty. I did in December 2021 for $39. So my Series X is under warranty for 3 years.
My OCD has me not wanting to put all of my eggs in one basket. I would hate to see my $500 investment become a glorified Xbox Series S, when the drive goes bad because I'm more interested in Xbox One games at the moment. Plus, $500 seems too expensive and boutique for me. My CAG senses keep telling me it is not worth buying a 4K television as well.
I'm more worried about my PS5 having issues than my Series X. The last two expensive Sony product purchases I made (Sony Viao laptop and Sony digital camera) had immediate hardware issues. That's why even though I see Sony OLED TVs getting pretty good reviews I can't commit myself to buying one. I don't think Sony quality is as good as it was in the 90s. I'd rather wait until I can find a great deal on an LG C1 TV.

I think GamePass is a good product with plenty of good games to play, but feel it's a much better value for those that don't normally play games. All of the major titles (Halo, Gears, Forza, Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age, etc.) are all games most people have already played as these are all top selling games. If you haven't played these games it's great but most previous Xbox owners would have already.
This describes me, I have mostly played games on Nintendo systems. Really enjoy my Switch. So all these Game Pass games I have never played before. Getting all these games for essentially $36 per year (with the XBL conversion trick) is a good deal for me.

You always get the base value listed, then the 10% from pro is added after, it should be its own line item on your receipt under each game, there should be a 50% bonus and then a 10% bonus for pro
You get the base value, ie $35 for top Switch games but the website lists it as the pro value 38.50 which leads to confusion
Let's use Far Cry 6 as an example:
Base TIV is $23.00
You traded in 5 games so you get a 50% boost ($11.50)
You have PUR Pro so you get an additional 10% ($2.30)
Add all that up, you got $36.80 in trade credit for that game.
Thanks all for the information, I definitely misunderstood thinking I would get "Pro Value" on each game plus the bonus 50% and 10%.
I didn't make anything on this transaction since Far Cry 6 and CoD: Vanguard were part of the Gamestop XSX bundle I was forced to buy last week. I paid $100 for both games and came out with $68.80 for trading them back in. I never even had the chance to play them with traveling for holidays.

Hopefully we get a same cash as credit trade in here soon, and the console values stay the same, got a Series X today and would love to trade my One X in so I don't have to list it online and deal with people trying giving me some sob story about why I should sell it to them for 75% of what I list it for
The joys of selling on Facebook marketplace and others. People sending you a ton of questions, you answer them, and they never respond back. Or people wanting to lowball you on expensive items. All just a giant waste of your time.

This Gyft website is garbage. Never had an account there before so i make one. Then when i go to purchase it wants me to verify my phone number (likely so they can spam me with texts). Then i try to order again it wants me to link my facebook account (likely so they spam me and my friends on there). So then i go to purchase and it won't accept my credit card. So then i try with my PayPal and it still won't let me pay. Then it locks me out of the Gyft account i just created.
