I completely agree. I was ready to cancel my preorder based on the early bad buzz, but my wife and I played the beta first and loved it. That's carried on to the full game as well, had another friend of ours join us this weekend and we all had a blast. I haven't read the reviews yet, but I agree with you in that if you have someone to play it with and like previous Fallouts, you'll most likely have a great time.
I'm also really enjoying the latest Fallout. Haven't had a game keep me playing all night in a long time. I'm actually mainly playing it solo. Tons to explore like any Bethesda game. I like occasionally running into other players, maybe looting a place together then giving a thumbs up and going our separate ways. Shame it's getting so much hate.

Lifted this from SD.
Walmart is offering $10 off orders of $35 or more on select gift cards.
Supposed to be for new customers.
NOTE: If you try using an already made account, you will receive an error message that the code cannot be applied.
Code is: ELLEN10
2 x $20 Steam cards
People have reported receiving the digital codes. A few have had orders cancelled, but unclear if they abused and did many orders.

Found this from SD. Given how rare sales on PSN credit is, I thought it was worth posting.
Place an order for $10 worth of 7up and/or Dr. Pepper soda products from their approved list and Amazon will send you a code for $20 PSN store credit.
This is a great deal if you have Amazon no-rush shipping credit. I ordered two 12 packs of 7up cans for about $12. I received my PSN code within 1 hour of delivery.

It's useful for keeping track of their upcoming releases. I suppose the indie thread could serve that function instead.

TRU sent me an "updated" order for my in-store pickup where everything is now listed as full price and they tossed in a Nintendo Switch console (which wasn't even able to be ordered online). Nice try TRU. I already picked up my items last night and have the receipt with original prices.
Credit card shows discounted price, but it's pending so who knows. Easy chargeback case if TRU wants to dance.

Thanks! We're friendly with Aksys but I'm not sure if we've pursued that game. I know we've been looking into something with them, but can't remember what.
Ah cool. That's good to hear that Aksys is friendly with you. In case you haven't checked it out, Chronicles of Teddy is a Zelda 2 / Metroid style game (main character even has the downthrust move). Really nice pixel art and good soundtrack. Seems right up LRG's alley. Developer is a small French company called LookAtMyGame.

If they increased the stock on certain titles by 20 percent (max), you don't think they'd sell out? Also... they never truly sell out, as they hold extra stock just in case shipments go missing, for other mishaps, and they also have extra for sells at shows. Last year they had extra stock on Black Friday, which wasn't due to the product not selling, but LRG holding onto stock so that they would have something for Black Friday.
People seriously need to move on from this. The resale argument doesn't hold weight anymore. That bubble has burst. e.g., Look at the resale value of Ys. No profit there. From a business perspective, LRG has played this well. They've been conservative on their print volume from the get-go to ensure success. For such a small business, over production = death.
The never selling out argument also holds no weight. If they chose to sell through all stock and couldn't replace damaged copies, there would be tons more shit posting on this and other LRG forums. It is very generous for LRG to hold back stock. In the same situation, BB and Amazon would have just refunded your money and peaced out.
Doomstink, if you're reading, the majority of us are very happy with all the physical copies you all have produced. Don't get distracted by the noise. Any chance of getting a physical release of Chronicles of Teddy? Maybe Akysys holds all publishing rights, but I would be all over a special physical release with a retro instruction manual print.

Not a pre-order, but still a good deal:

Yeah, same here, I believe a number of us combined Skullgirls with Volume to save shipping (the release date for Skullgirls wasn't too far off at the time, a very logical money saving move). You know LRG should just eat up the shipping cost and give us Volume...
I don't blame LRG for the Skullgirls delay. As far as I'm concerned, they're been ok with the updates and I feel confident that we'll eventually get our order. That being said, it would have been a much better customer service move to have tossed Volume in with one of the several orders that have shipped since. I bet the vast majority of people (if not all) who are waiting on Volume have ordered many games from LRG since.

Nope, seeing as how the game isn't out yet and it's $50 on amazon before prime
It was $28 and change on Amazon earlier today. I got in an order. They probably just price matched Walmart. Looks like it's currently unavailable for pre-order on Amazon now though.
