#13923610 XBL Deals - 2018

Blood Bowl 2 is a really fun strategy game, but they have most of the races hidden behind DLC as it's a niche game audience. Still, one of my favorite strategy games of all time.

Lol, I strayed away from the forums for a minute and now we have an excellent Poopees banner.  Hilarious.

E3 Demo video shows off some gameplay and has some commentary.

Also, someone's import review seems to be helpful.

The separate thread was cool back when Indie Game Stand had more interesting games.

Spelunky is quite manageable once you become adept at it.  Give it enough runs and you'll start dreaming about it and be better in no time.  Also, I really recommend reading the Spelunky Survival Guide.  Additionally, Spelunkin' with Scoops (Patrick Klepek from Giant Bomb) is pretty entertaining for watching and learning the ins and outs.

#12106186 Android Deals Thread V2

Star Wars Commander is out for android.

It's basically just Clash of Clans with a Star Wars skin applied to it.

I'll feel like such a tool for installing and playing it.

But I -did- like Clash of Clans up until the mid game where I got squished between new players and the experts.

Eww, Clash of Clans?  I guess I won't install that then.  Thanks for the heads up.

#12024841 PS Vita Deals & Discussions Thread

I really don't come in here too often so I'm not sure if this was mentioned but Best Buy has Playstation All Stars Battle Royale on sale for $9.99.  Not really sure if it's all that great of a deal or game but thought I would post in case it might interest some.

I'd rather pick it up for a similar price on PS3 with a free vita download code.

Of course, the cart is great if you're limited for space though.

Smash Up

Nice, by AEG.  I usually like their stuff, played Legend of the Five Rings for years.

I have no problem paying $1 for a game that actually looks interesting enough to want to play.  It's the ones that aren't that will likely only warrant a purchase if included in a bundle for $1 with other games.

Sweet, I don't suppose that there is any kind of coupon that would stack with a DotD, is there?

I believe coupons don't work on the deal of the day.

I got everything shipped (including AC IV Limited Edition), except Gears of War: Judgment.

Probably just a case of who got their orders in first.

#11981498 Club Nintendo Deals ~ New Games Up (11/17-12/14)

Posted by Necrotron on 04 August 2014 - 05:59 PM

Since I still have my original Wii hooked up, I suppose I'll just keep my Wii VC games running on that then since I can just plug in a wavebird controller.

One of these days, Nintendo needs to get on the 'if you own it in your account, you can use it on all your platforms' train.  The one console only thing is just silly in the current market.
