They are pretty decent games and one is Basara 4 best price so it's a rare game. I know I can get close to the $400 by trading in but again, I don't really want to have $400 credit at Gamestop as I already explained I have nothing to use it on right now or in the near future. I know it doesn't expire but having it sit there for like 2 years or whenever Nintendo decides to release a better Switch isn't ideal right now. Although, I could use it on PSVR 2 if that is indeed coming out next year. Hmmm. I don't have a Pro membership but the $14.99 would make up for itself.

Xbox One (and I assume PS4) refurb fee is $60, so if you have a wonky controller it's better to buy a pre-owned from them than take the refurb hit.  Trade the wonky controller in separately for only and $8 refurb fee.

Debating trading in my XB1 S (1 TB) and Spiderman PS4 Pro, but it just seems like TIV is just too low for the Spiderman version of the console.  I dunno.  I used a $50 cert and paid $350 plus tax for it, so maybe I should just be happy with $200.  I don't even want to hassle with the "open market" selling platforms.  

 

Also I feel like the second I trade the XB1 S, suddenly I would be itching to play Forza Horizon.  I don't use the XB as a multimedia device, but if I choose to can I find a better device for $135?   Not sure it's worth the trade in either.  

 

I'm just ashamedly addicted to the whole "buy-trade-buy-trade..." process to the point where I'm now getting more enjoyment out of debating the trades than playing the games.

Yes, but they’re not terrible. I saw $699 for a PS5, miles morales ultimate edition, a 2nd controller, and a year of PS+. Still over priced, but could be worse.

I think of it as being a $20 (?) tip to Gamestop for finding a way around the bots.

Went in last night to trade a few games and pay off my Cyberpunk preorder.  Everything was rung up, but the 20% bonus didn't apply (my 10% Pro did).  So they had to cancel my existing preorder and create a new one, then the 30% boost applied.  Just FYI.

 

Also, I was told that FedEx is waaaay backed up, to the point that they aren't coming by to pick up packages from that store for a few days.  I imagine it's that way across the country.

 

On the bright side, I had new copies of Yoshi & NSMBD show up actually sealed = Christmas miracle!

YMMV obviously--I ordered two of these a month ago and they have been running fine for me.  All I had to do was reinstall the newest system update and they have both been fine with no issues.  One system's issue noted was "freezes" and the other was "no video". 

It says he has only 2 in stock, but I bought two a while back and the listing has remained active for the entire time with stock available, so he probably leaves the number low to keep demand going. This is probably a bulk buyer who doesn't extensively troubleshoot the systems.  I am not affiliated with the seller.  Cosmetically, the systems are nice enough to trade in without taking a refurb fee when stores re-open for business.

Anyone grab a copy?  I dropped everything I was doing to buy one but they were already sold out.  Maybe next time.

For NHL 20, he's got until February before its value goes below what its B2G1F price was.  Every year on that game the smart play is to buy it on Black Friday, dump before the NHL All-Star weekend, then if it's still great rebuy on All-Star weekend's sale, then dump again before HUT Team of the Year or NHL Playoffs begin.  Never buy that game at full price/day 1.

Just got one off of eBay for 130$ from a friend for my birthday with a 32gb men card . Anyone recommend fun games to play in short spurts my friend said it came with lumines.. so probably try that possibly also pick up my favorite psp game patchwork heroes too.

Need For Speed is good and isn't a huge downgrade over the console versions. 

Mine are all black and red.  I originally got a black and red one, took them apart and swapped backs.  So one is black with a red back and the other is red with a black back.  Anytime I have an issue, I buy a new one, take out the innerads and return my old ones.

 

Why do that with a 25 dollar controller though?  Do that with a 60 dollar one, keep the 25 dollar controller.

LMAO at the people all hunched over even after riser except for the one chick in front that's probably 5'4. One guy even looks nearsighted the way he's looking at the screen. Ugh, I'd only get this for $200 or less for sure. Can't imagine trying to play this for more than 15 mins without my back killing me.

There's never been much replay value in those 4-player beat 'em ups anyway.  Sure, they're iconic and everyone loves them, but it's not something you'd play daily.  It's just a fun, pricey novelty.
