So since I know everyone is super interested, I've decided to regale you all with my Hearts of Iron adventures.
The first hundred or so hours I played almost exclusively as Axis nations, and I thought to myself, why not play as an Allied nation? So I picked most iconic Allied country of all, Czechoslovakia.
I decided the only way I could survive was to play defensive, so I built up a bunch of forts on the border with Germany (like a Maginot line, except it was a Sudeten-line) along with a massive army of infantry and artillery. So when Hitler came a-knockin' for the Sudetenland, I gave him the middle finger and told him to suck it. Luckily I had an alliance with France and luckier still they joined the war when Hitler declared war on me.
So both France and I are holding off Germany at the Maginot line and the Sudeten-line respectively, while Hitler kept throwing his men into our well-fortified meat grinders. He hadn't gained an inch of territory but had at least a million casualties by the time Italy joined, and swept France from the south. Hitler gets cocky and decides to declare on Poland, but this time the UK got involved and helped stave off the invasion. Poland gave up some land to the Soviets in exchange for them not invading, and seeing our opportunity, we start pushing back into Germany, resulting in this;
So we knock out Germany, then sweep into the southeast to put down the Junior Axis (Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria), then take back France and finally with our forces combined, mop up Italy.
In the peace conference, I annexed all of Germany because you Hitler. We reinstated all the conquered nations as democracies, even Germany, who is now exiled in Prussia. Belgium took Italy's African possessions, and also Albania, for some reason. I believe the only fascist nation left is Spain, who was not involved in the war. Not too long after the war was finally over, Japan declares on the Dutch East Indies after having conquered China, and the Soviets declare on Poland, who I've vowed to protect in honor of their noble sacrifice. So we'll see how that goes.
Stay tuned for more adventures in " you Hitler, you're not my supervisor!"

My Steam Profile (from SteamDB)
- Worth: $55105 ($16278 with sales)
- Games owned: 9454
- Games not played: 5163 (55%)
- Hours on record: 21,082.7h
My Steam Profile (from SteamDB)
I think that for me the most interesting metric was the price/hour calculations. I mean, it doesn't include DLC so it's a bit skewed, but still. EU4 at the top with 4 cents an hour. Skyrim at 6 cents an hour. Dungeons Defenders doesn't count since I'd leave it idle overnight. GTA4/5 at 18/16 cents per hour, respectively. Fallout 4 at 14 cents an hour.

Last time I tried to buy a PC game from Gamestop was when one of the CoD games (ghosts?) was like tree fiddy.
I put in a request online to pick it up at the Gamestop near my work. When I get there, the clerk pulls out a copy that's not in the plastic shrink-wrap. I stare at the clerk in disbelief as she starts to ring me up.
Me: "Uh.... this is unsealed."
Clerk: "I can seal it back up for you if you want."
I grab the game, open the box, and sure enough, the DVD is there but no CD key.
Me: "Yeah, this is useless without a CD key"
Clerk: "CD key? What are you talking about?"
I spend about 5 minutes explaining to her how PC games have CD keys and without it, the game is just a useless piece of plastic, before the other clerk walks out of the back room, overhears our conversation, and says "Oh yeah, those should have CD keys". No shit??? I walked out of there and facepalmed so hard I almost gave myself a concussion.

I tried amazon - about $35 for Legacy of the Void and $38 for SC2 battlechest. Last year about this time it was $10 on sale.
If you launch SC2 you can buy it in-game as a "dynamic bundle" which gets cheaper depending on what you already own. Although that includes all the Nova Covert Ops missions, which you may or may not be interested in. I only had WoL and HotS it was ~$30 to get LotV, the Nova missions and the rest of the co-op commanders.
