Thanks for the digital card tips too!

I’ve been buying a ton lately with these online pre-owned sales.  Only traded in a few games, but I have been doing a lot of GameStop returns.  Probably about 1/3 of my pre-owned purchases go back, lots of the new too if it comes unsealed and it’s not something I’ll play for a while.  Or worse, the stupid circle seal that GameStop puts on the case edge sometimes that leaves a huge mess when you peel off.  Anyone have any experience with a large number of returns causing a problem?

Goo Gone is the best at removing the sticker peel residue.

Gamestop finally got rid of the "Load More" button. Now it is "View All" and then 1-2-3 at the bottom of the page.

i think certs are non-refundable in stores company-wide after theyve been used

He is trying to convert certs to trade in credit.

Had an associate reject my Madden 21 trade in, saying they could only give back the amount I paid after certificates; I used $45 in certificates, and the associate said they would only give the difference back (i.e. $14.99).

What's the procedure for submitting a survey if you didn't make a purchase? Same link as the other one? Don't actually have the associates name either.

I'm confused, how did they know you used certs to buy your game, if you are just trading it in? I have used $50 worth of certs in the past on a G2L game and they just treated it like any other trade in. I took the game in and just cut out the code part that they needed to see.

How much $ to have on a single Trade-in Credit card before you guys usually create a new one to avoid weird suspicion?

They usually ask me "why do you have so much credit", when I have over $300 on a trade card. I just tell them that I'm saving up for a PS5. The max that I usually put is $500 and then move on to another trade card. The maximum value that you can put on a trade card is $1000.

Various stores try to rip me off too.  Cheap games in place of pricey games I'm trading in.  You need to study the keypad while they scan everything in.  Don't walk away to shop, while they scan your pile.  After you sign, good luck.

I was just about to say the say thing. I also write down all of the values on a piece of paper to make sure I'm getting the right values for each game and the total I'm suppose to receive.

empty open box with no game madden 2016 x1

I also learned the hard way. Now I shake every game I buy to make sure I can hear it inside the case.

But does anyone know what the expiration date is currently for the reward certificates? Want to use mine in Nov. for the consoles but I fear if I wait until Nov. to redeem GS will block redemptions, but don't want to redeem too early and not be able to use the certificates.

I redeemed my points for a $5 cert at the beginning of July and the expiry date was 8/30/2020.

I still have my 32 inch Shark Aquos 720p from 2008. No issues whatsoever.

I thought I was the only one who was still using a Sharp 32 inch 720p TV. I got my Sharp from Best Buy during a black Friday sale for about $149 (cheap back in the day). I got my eye on a 32 inch Samsung 4k but just waiting for the price to go down.

The bastards looted all of the copies of Cory in The House. There isn't a copy within 100 miles.

Skimming thru the charts, its not look good for us CAGs! But random section I flipped to (Not sure I am understanding their breakage term correctly) but there is apparently over $113M in PUR rewards not redeemed.. which seems insane!

That's those soccer moms that got convinced to sign up for PUR and never knew how much or how to redeem the points.
