RE5 has co-op online. It's also drop-in/drop out so if someone leaves someone else can join you if they want by selecting to join based on whatever chapter you're on.

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is free on PSN and XBox Live right now for a limited time. Here is the link for the PS4 version.

The problem with the PS5 launch is the component shortages which basically get taken away from the system along with higher cost sourced components/architecture. I don't think the launch PS5 is going to be what they wanted to put out because of the problems acquiring what they wanted, and having to raise the price just to get what they can. They should have waited until December for release to see if those extra few months could have made a difference.

Even if Xbox Series X YZ123 launches earlier it's not the favored system and I'd rather Sony put out the best possible hardware from the start. Either way we're likely in for another mid-system upgrade if that's the case. They were going to include that mirrorless camera with the system but outside of VR enhancement I think it wouldn't serve a purpose for most people. Sony is better off leaving it out and saving it for future integration.

As for the Pro, $300 is the price is should be standard but they want the base PS4 at that price for as long as they can. If GameStop was doing the $50 bonus system trade-in credit I would be tempted because we don't have concrete specifics on PS5's backwards compatibility. I really prefer hardware BC over software but they say that costs more, and if the PS5 enhances games as well if not better than the Pro there is no reason to get the Pro. Of course the Pro only plays PS4 games though.

Sony doesn't want to reveal too much too soon because then they're going to be stuck with what they say, and if it doesn't end up being the end case that's how quickly customers will flip on them.

I’m not sure Sony has the leverage to do that, given the value Microsoft has been providing with its Games Pass and other consumer friendly choices. Combine that with a new console reset, and if Sony isn’t careful, they could see lots of people jumping ship as far as which next gen console gets first priority for purchase. It would also be richly ironic if that happened, because Sony would only have themselves to blame for not offering more to keep players in their ecosystem. Having fewer games on offer and/or fewer deeper sales for PS+ members could come back to bite them in that way, especially as the PS+ membership service has been so lucrative to the company as a whole. When the company was struggling, it was the PlayStation division that helped keep them afloat. In that sense, Sony should be careful they don’t kill their goose that lays golden eggs, but I guess we’ll see what happens in the next year or so (whether we see PS3 launch Sony or PS4 launch Sony).

Executives are not consumer focused, they're focused on profits to please their shareholders. Complacency is a problem with companies who ride a plateau until they hit a wall and wonder what happened when the profits start to drop. We'll see if Sony has some surprises in store aside from just a console because they have done nothing to improve features or function for a paid service.

My friends long time no see !!!!!! Hope everyone’s holiday has been great !

As for gaming the only deals that have interested me were the 199 switch and spidey at Best Buy but Best Buy sold out instantly on thanksgiving day :(

This is why you should order things online, especially when they offer free shipping. The game was available from Wednesday through Friday if not earlier at $15. It's possible it may be that price again before Christmas.

^ This isn't CAGBlogs and too much Potassium is bad for your Heart and Kidneys. That's all I'm going to say on that.

I just got back from Walmart and it was a sad sight. They had all of the Black Friday "deals" at the front of the store for games and movies. Even if the same exact game or movie was in Electronics and someone was trying to buy it they would not price match the Black Friday price. I felt bad for the people who were trying to find what they were looking for and getting shot down by the miserable Tuesday of a manager.

I stupidly wasted the gas trying to find Avengers Endgame for the $7.96 which were all gone. The OCD in me wouldn't have been happy with the promo copy which everything for Black Friday was part of for the most part. Not many employees around as usual either. I noticed there weren't much sale price changes on anything. Anything Black Friday was mostly shoved into a cardboard bin or pallet stack. This was around 11:30 pm so the early barrage of people were gone.

I don't think this year was much of a blowout for anyone unless you got lucky with price errors or a rare find. Crap Friday and Gray Thursday.

Jesus. It's absolute madness out there. People were literally vomiting and shitting themselves. It's like they forced down Thanksgiving dinner and immediately bolted out the door to spend money they don't even have.

That's awesome. I'd like to see it.

My ps4 ui lag sometimes and I heae either the hdd or external clicks plenty of times. I'll be damn if the hdd dies after black friday.

Rebuild your PS4 Database.

  1. Turn off your PS4 using the power button on the front of the device. (If it is already off even better.)
  2. Hold the power button down and wait for two beeps. This typically takes about seven seconds.
  3. Connect your PS4's DualShock 4 controller to the console using a compatible USB cable.
  4. From the Safe Mode menu, choose Option 5: Rebuild Database.

#14237580 Best Buy Black Friday 2019 Ad Deals

Posted by Silver Phoenix on 29 November 2019 - 03:25 AM

Pretty sure they are comparing the difference between Endgame BD ($8) and 4K ($22).

Yeah this is what I was referring to. I think $15 for the 4k would have been more reasonable.

They don't wanna make 4ks too cheap because it makes Disney Plus a harder sell.

Fuck Disney. I want to have tangible ownership of what I buy. The Endgame 4K price is bullshit considering Infinity War was so much better. I guess I'll have to put my Black Friday impulsiveness away for a far better price in the future. Not a big DC fan but at least Aquaman 4K was $7.99 and I'm hoping I actually like Shazam since I bought the 4K for $12.99. Even Spider-Man: Far From Good (Home) 4K was $12.99 but maybe that has more to do with Sony owning the license and not Disney owning all of it.

Gonna be $7.96 or $8.96 at Walmart for BF.

It would be nice if Best Buy price matched them so I don't have to spend money online or actually have to go into the store. I just paid $620 for 4 new tires which really fucked me.

Btw, this may only interest a few people but Kohls has Angry Birds Star Wars ($4.49) and Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection ($8.09) for the PS3 on sale.

I know the PS4 version of the Genesis Collection is supposed to be on sale for $15 somewhere.
