What I understood about the Xbox Parity Clause was that it only 'took effect' when the indie game was part of the ID@Xbox program and received free support from Xbox in the form of dev kits, software, and personal support. If you receive that free support, you had to launch on Xbox at the same time as other platforms. If you pay for your dev kits, software, etc all by yourself and take no Xbox support, you can do whatever you want. That how I understood it.

Ran into the strictest CSR this morning on my 2nd attempt after meeting the coolest CSR yesterday. Person today wouldn't accept my Cartwheel after they Pricematched and when the $15 was taken off I tried swiping my card quickly while they looked puzzled at the price. They stopped the transaction before I could finish accepting the purchase and denied me both discounts. Only have 1 Target within 45 minutes so I'll try again when I head home this evening and hope different staff is on.

That's my fear, though. You can't get 20% with GCU if the game is PM'd. I wonder if that rule will still be in effect if they're price matching themselves?
I've never had a problem with the in-store pricing of DOTD games personally and I've picked up quite a few. Another option to reassure you is to order it through BestBuy.com for in-store pick-up. Usually is ready in a couple hours and then you'll know the 20% was taken off.

I am in the Clinical Mental Health Program, which basically means that I will have a career as a "talk-therapist" and (after taking the NCE/fulfilling supervision hour requirements) have a license to operate a private practice, which in turn is my (hopeful) ticket to own an M3. at least, be able to pay off my school debts before I turn 153. There is a loan forgiveness plan for this particular field, after ten years with an agency in the field and good standing on loan payment for that time all federal loans are wiped clean. Then it is just the en private loans I
smoked upgot suckered into during undergrad We all make mistakes!
That's right, get that paper up son! Its a code of conduct lol. Goguenator knows what I am talking about
Honestly, a bachelors in Psychology...don't pay shit. So I am kind of in a situation where to actually make a living/have a professional career/get a return on the investment I have made that I need to invest more into continuing education. Besides, I like the idea of going to school and learning from professionals that are able to help me develop as a professional. Good stuff right there. Also, to touch on the comment about cost of attendance, the program I am in is full time at 9 credits every semester. In the summer, my Thursdays are screwed with a 6 hour class for for 6 weeks, then another 6 hour class for the other 6 weeks. The cost of tuition at this school is much less than a private institution (like where I did my undergrad at, which was 36 grand a year. the cost of this entire program is about 38 grand lol). So, while it looks a lot on paper at one time (and as an out of pocket bill), I am just using the perspective of ya got to spend money to make money.
Thanks for the support everyone! You guys make this community great. I will have a mish-mash of games and such posted after next week. Please go bid in Vendettas lowball in the mean time!
I'm looking into the same repayment plan!! Public service for 10 years!.....Let's buy Masa's shit!!

When you buy it on disk, it includes season pass and is $40 ($32 with BBY GCU). The digital copy is $20 for the game and a seperate $20 for the season pass.
This will be my conundrum for the next 3 years until my GCU membership runs out. I like the 20% off through BBY and having physical copies for display/trade in if needed. But I like the idea of going more digital and not having to change the disk to play something, especially for smaller games like Trials.
I think until my BBY starts selling the digital download cards with the 20% off, I'm going to have to be going physical for now.

So.....I made the leap! I had a couple hundred bucks worth of BBY gift cards from gifts/trade ins and got the manager at BBY to match this bundle from Walmart.
The manager didn't even check which game I had brought him to the Walmart list. If I would have known that, I would have gotten a game not on the list, maybe Wonderful 101, Pikmin, or Splinter Cell. Oh well, can't complain with the deal I got. Even got an actual Wiimote and not the off brand that Walmart was offering. Was very pleased with my purchase.
