Got 4 of these at two different stores (two at each).
Both times they said they couldn't price match an out of stock item, both times I just said "I thought the same thing until I checked the FAQ section on your site and it says you'll only pricematch out of stock items from your own www.target.com website.
Both times they said... "Oh, yeah we can do that then"
2 things to remember though.
Remember to keep the FAQ section up/ready when they say no
You can only stack up to 3yrs on one account (I couldn't redeem the 4th code, gave to friend).

What's the appeal of this controller anyways? I'm legit asking because i don't know what would make me want to pay double the price for a controller. Is it just a collectors thing?
I bought it after going through 2 other controllers already (broken A button, Right Trigger). I can't say enough how much I'd recommend it. The quality really is there, sure there are a couple things I'd def recommend on the next gen version of this controller but it's def a 9.5/10 in my book.
After using it and going back to using a standard controller at my Brothers's House, you really do appreciate the quality of it's materials. The old ones I have literally feel like cheap plastic with short stubby knobs, almost like your holding a toy. The sensitivity is less then half of what I'm used to now, they're grainy, go zero to one hundred, not smooth and seamless at all and the feel just makes me feel like it's a kids controller.
If MS would use the Elite controller (even without paddles underneath) as a template for all controllers they would redefine what everyone would expect in one.
That said, it's expensive but it'll change your views on what a controller can be.

I ordered from best buy a couple of days ago, said back-ordered possibly in by Dec 16th. I received a shipping confirmation yesterday, and the controller should be here next week.
lol awesome, I pre-ordered mine a month ago and have yet to get anything.

Coupons print out with the receipt for trading in the games in question. So after your done with the trade in, one of those pieces of paper being printed out will be the coupon.
Then to use the coupon you must pre-order the game (put $$$ down) on the game then/there. When you pick up the game, you give them the coupon and it'll drop the price of the game to $50. Your deposit is then taken off the $50 total, then GCU is applied.
This is where myself and others got really upset since they treated $$$ down as a coupon and applied GCU after. If they fixed this issue I don't know.

You're probably right, but he can make these red shirts earn them if they want to play games.
Perks of their job... we all know if places were reversed it'd probably play out the same. My advice... if you knew when he was there, do the math to figure out when he'd be off shift (8 hours later etc) and try again if they still show in stock. If they don't then go to the store anyway and ask to talk to the manager. Explain/Argue and you might still come out ahead and/or get him in trouble if he did buy them.
Only options... but you'll know he'll use his Employee ID (discount) to purchase. It'll prove/disprove if he bought it when his account is pulled.
Easy enough to OUT the guy.

Perhaps. The last one was buy a $39.99 game and get GCU for $30. It lasted for about a month?
The last one was Buy a Phone, get GCU for free. The deal was there were phones that were only $3 and some for $7. Making it so cheap that it pays for itself buying a $20 game.

I did the same and am thinking of doing another with 2X trades for sunset. Does anyone know if walmart has a limit per game or anything?
limit is 2 copies of the same game per platform.
2x PS4 (if it were on it)
per transaction, so you could do it multiple times.
If we knew if Walmart was going to do another 50/100% bonus trade-in soon this deal would be insane for setting up some great Xmas shopping trips.

If I preorder online, will I be charged full price right away, or when the game ships?
You'll be charged right away, it'll drop off after a few days but you may be randomly charged again (pend for 3 days) only to drop off again. When it ships it'll charge for good.
There are some times when it charges multiple times when it ships if the random charge overlaps the actual shipment.
You might also have the same problem I did where my bank kept calling me seeing multiple charges for the same amount (multiple pre-orders of games coming to $50.02 each, all charging at the same time) would red flag my card and I'd get 2-3 calls a week from my bank saying they thought my card was stolen. All from pre-ordering games 3-12 months from coming out, yet I'd still get the constant pending charges.
At one point I had over $700 pending from bestbuy from all my orders.... CRAZY RIGHT!
Best advice... NEVER pre-order a game online until it's near to release. There are multiple examples of pre-order bonus's being added right before release, those who order months in advance will not receive them.

I made the mistake of letting the phone rep check me out. He then refused to allow the GCU deal. When I took the conversation over the Customer Services they said I was allowed to, then tried to back track when he kept going on a rant about me scamming them.
Overall experience... grab the phone or the Net10 card and tell them you have more shopping to do... THEN just use the normal checkout.
Remember to enter phone # first.
Then Scan GCU card.
Otherwise it'll make them have to figure out why they got a pop-up.
Seriously though... avoid the Phone Reps and CS if you can help it.

So let's get this right... buy Destiny for $43, Ghost for $17.50 and get $20 off the total.
Both games cost $40 with GCU, trading in both gives you ($36.30 destiny, $11 ghost, $10 coupon towards COD:AW)
$47.30 + $10 off coupon
Pretty decent deal, shame it's not next gen but this still works.

I will wait till black Friday. Last year, the Skylander starter bundles were $39, down from the usual $75, so hopefully one (either Disney Infinity or the new Skylanders) drops that low.
Both Infinity and Skylanders had sets as cheap as $28 each on a sale before black Friday. They were on sale for $37 each at Target/Walmart but Target also had a Buy 1, Get 1 30% off coupon for games that stacked with a $5 off purchase coupon (All Digital). Making them $28 each when you bought 2 or just $32 when you bought 1 with the $5 off coupon.
This deal isn't the best IMO.
I grabbed the starterset + Spiderman for $60 in the GCU/price glitch that was on bestbuy for a while. Picked up the other 3 figures when I picked them up since they had a B2G1 deal going on. Paying $88 in the end.
It's a great deal if you want it now but waiting always shows price mistakes, insane deals or other opportunities that may come up.
