It affects you too. Once your current GPU sub ends, how are you going to renew? With the conversion deal and stacking 3 years of discounted XBL Gold, you paid $151 for 3 years of GPU. The next best price has been about $25 for 3 months, so you're looking at paying $100 for 1 year of GPU when previously $51 more got you an additional 2 years. So what you're going to pay in the future is double the price of what you already paid from the conversion deal. That's if there are still deals by the time your GPU expires.
Man, people on Reddit are really flipping out over the Gold increase. Guess I thought more people were already on GPU. Regardless, it definitely was a stupid move at this time with the pandemic and all. Not sure what MS was thinking. They should at least make F2P games not require Gold as a gesture of goodwill since all the other consoles don’t require their online subs.

Retro Gamer is easily the cream of the crop because it often reveals new insight on classic games and they interview developers years after games have released. The current issue features SNK's Neo Geo prominently as its cover story.
The print subscriptions for these magazines are all over $60 since they have to be imported. My only complaint about the digital subscription is that you have to download the magazines and can't just view them online. If you download them as traditional scans, the files can be quite large. There's also a tablet-friendly version that is a lighter download.

It's one of Capcom's best franchises. I don't like Skyrim either - this game also does have an open world, but the combat is easily the best part of the game, which will have you always looking for new monsters to fight. You can scale monsters, or hold them down while your companions slash away at them. There's a recent Netflix anime based on the game, which is pretty good. It'll show you what the game's world and story is about, but skip it if you don't like unhappy endings. Another game is in development if the hacker leak was accurate, so now is the best time to check out the series.
Talk to me about Dragons Dogma. I keep almost pulling the trigger on it and then don’t at the last minute. I really wanted Baldurs Gate or Icewind Dale to go on sale but I haven’t seen them on sale digital at anytime and might opt for Dragons Dogma instead. If it’s any clue as to whether I will like the game, I loved Dragon Age Origins but didn’t like Inquisition near as much. Loved Diablo 3 but had a hard time getting into Skyrim. I know i have weird rpg tendencies. The whole “open world” thing usually just gets tedious for me.

Do you know how you got it? Are you in an area where mask compliance is low that it renders your own mask-wearing useless? I'm always worried that the cheap surgical masks barely do anything to slow down spread and cases will soar come winter.
Guess whose got a huge back log and some raging COVID? This guy! Seriously though everyone this shit is terrible. My wife is worse off than I am and I feel like crap. I hope you all stay healthy and safe.
Need to find something super low paced and relaxing to play while I ride this out.

They passed on publishing it outside of Japan due to its high difficulty. Sony president Shuhei Yoshida played it for two hours, didn't get past the starting area, and called it a bad game. Then it was praised on Penny Arcade, became a cult hit, and you know the rest.
Out of curiosity how did Sony snubb Demon Souls? I remember them shutting down the servers before I got to play it but it wasn't really my type of game back then. Bloodborne is the tits though and one of my games of the generation.
