My local Target has a 'repackage' Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Special Edition for $49 (50% off) and with a slightly dented box. I've never played any of the series. Does this have resale value, or is this game a must buy?
Must Buy IMO. I liked XC1, but it wasn't anything remarkable for me. XC2 on the other hand, is one of the best RPGs I've ever played. It's deeply complex in terms of technical gameplay, has a great story, fun battle mechanics and I find the characters to be likable & endearing, in most cases. Surprisingly, Torna: The Golden Country does even better because it has revised battle mechanics and since its "DLC," it could really be considered a standalone game, and a tight, focused story.
Highly suggest picking up both. Don't think the Collector's Edition has a great deal of resale value at this juncture.

Does anyone actually play with these cheap cardboard gimmicks? Or do they buy them, put them together, "play" them once, then just stick them in the back of the closet? Who actually uses these on a regular basis?

I need to move to your city...lol. I've seen PS2 games at WM, sure...but no Vita stuff for a long while.
Of course everything that we have leftover at this location is the bottom-of-the-barrel shovelware and long-outdated baseball games.

Most of my finds are behind you guys in price. The $11.98 games still ring up as being $19.98 and the $5.98 games are still $9.98. I'm hoping that they drop in my store tomorrow.

FWIW, stores undergoing remodeling that carry vinyl seem to be setting most of them on clearance for 50% off - I picked up:
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here - $17.48
Pink Floyd - Animals - $14.98
Prince - Purple Rain - $12.48
CCR - Chronicle - $12.48
They had many others like several Hendrix albums, Dr. Dre, and others I can't recollect for very reasonable prices. It does pay to do your research on the pressings though, if they're sourced digitally, there's really no reason to pick them up.
Also, I don't have the receipt available, so you'll have to search Target or Brickseek for DPCI numbers.

Went to a semi local GS and saw and couple of things that caught my eyes....
First was that I’m starting to see more and more DS games having cases which I extremely pleased with.
This is VERY store dependent. Some stores (managers) are better about it than others, I frequent several different GS and most of them toss the cases for one reason or another, but two of the locations I go to have the room for the extra cases and will display where they can.
