I love you guys and I love what yall do for us gamers. I don't want to get banned but some bad stuff happened yesterday and I need to at least post this once.

I live in Prairieville la. My house was destroyed by the floods today. Me and my son lost everything. Our PS4, Wii U, both 360's and 100 disney infinity characters are gone. It's hard to deal with. If you don't want to help that's cool. Could you guys at least spread the word. Thanks.

Honestly, if you were able to afford a ps4, Wii u, 2 Xbox 360s and 100 infinity characters, not to mention games for these systems you are probably well off financially already.

You're definitely trading in too much. I've had my account for the better part of a decade, trade in regularly, and my lifetime points is only at 200k. Learn to be more discreet, if you still have a chance in the future.

I went to trade my stuff in first thing this morning.  Dude said the 10% bump didn't apply to cash trades.  Showed him the website, he said the website was wrong and that he's right even though it says the same price for cash and credit and the values show the 10% bump.  So I only traded in a $1 game just so I could get the receipt.  Told him I'll be submitting a negative survey for him and GameStop, and then told him to have a nice day.

this is why I don't mind screwing GameStop over any chance I get.

SHITFUCK!   Just tried doing some trades today and found out I was banned on all 3 of my accounts.   I'm really annoyed about losing all my PUR points, I hope they show up when I'm un-banned.    I'm pretty sure it was multiple uses of the retailmenot coupon that did me in.   So be careful if you are using those.   Between the 3 accounts I stayed under all my 4 per game limits and $500 cash trades.   

Man, these bans seem to be random.  I have a single account and have traded in $500+ cash trades in a single month and have traded multiple copies of the same game in the same transaction.   Guess it just depends on if you get a Jr. Detective or not

Here's a story/FYI for Pro Day tomorrow:

 

I went to Gamestop today thinking my PUR Pro account was going to expire this Sunday so I wanted to renew.

Decided to get DOOM on Xbox One.

Talked to the guy at the counter and he let me get in on the Pro Day deal early.

I was expecting to get DOOM for $25 plus tax.

What ended up happening was that DOOM ended up being $30 plus tax because on Pro Day, they were going to raise the price to $35 and if I renew it would drop to $30...

 

If you guys end up getting it for $25.....let's just say I won't be happy lol

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but if you use the retailmenot coupon and get uncharted 4 used today for $25, it'll trade in for $30 cash tomorrow for Pro day.  Good credit to cash move plus additional money to cover gas

So if I trade in my Xbox one, do I get to trade in the Kinect separately?  From the looks of it, I can get $100 for my Xbox one console + $100 coupon bump to buy a ps4, and with the 50% bonus, I would get $40 for the Kinect ...so...

$100 console

$100 coupon bonus

$40 kinect

 = $240.

buy a ps4, then return for a Xbox one elite with $50 gift card included for $350.

so end result would be net of $60 .... And having a $50 gift card.  I'd be using GameStop credit to pay for this so no money out of pocket. 

Another GameStop ripoff "promo" unless you were going to buy a new game and an old game priced $39.99 or above anyways 

And if you were one of the original members years ago, GameStop had the website refresh every weekday at 6:45am.

there would be tons of good rare and cheap games added to the GameStop site and tons of chat activity on this site at that time in prepping and ordering from the site.  I think it was around 2005.

i only lost money on 2 of the 16 games I traded in. Gotta love it.

ill probably buy the games back when they drop in price but there was no point in keeping them since I wasn't planning on playing them anytime soon.  Some of the games have been sitting on my shelf untouched for a year and a half.

got it all in cash which is sweet since all those games were just sitting on my shelf since I've already played the heck out of them.  I think I was very close to breaking even or profited with how much I paid for them.
