Just traded in walking dead for ps4 for $16.  Bought it a year ago for $12, and it was in my backlog this whole time.  Finally played and beat it last week so perfect timing to trade in.

Not sure if this happened to anyone else or if I'm just out of the gamestop loop, but when I try to purchase amazon or ebay gift cards with store credit, the employee denied me saying a new corportate policy does not allow the purchase of these gift cards with store credit. Can anyone confirm or deny this happening to them as well? Just trying to see whether I should try another store or if this is happening across the board. Thanks!

Yes this happens at more and more stores.

easiest workaround.  Buy something else too with that gift card, use the store credit, and pay the difference, then Return the item you bought.

The BBB doesn't really have any pull, so I'd doubt you'd get anywhere.  Some people think the BBB is a government agency but it's really just a for profit company that businesses can pay to up their BBB rating

unless you will play it right away, just wait, and you can easily get it for under $20 a few months after release

Meh, no big deal. In under a month the annual 3 month rental period from GameStop begins.  This really solves everything with playing games

Just got an email about trading in destiny for $20 credit towards taken king.

not bad considering I just got destiny from bestbuy last week for $12.

maybe I'll do this deal and then turn around , return taken king, and apply the money to something else.
