I got lucky when I went in to gamestop to buy some boomerang. Store associate said a guy traded in the game 10mins before I arrived.

So after renewing my pro account last weekend, today I woke up 3 coupons for buy 2 get one free preowned item. All 3 coupons have different codes, hope they're all valid.

Can confirm, same thing happened to me. Went in and they couldn't find the pre-owned copy so they sold me a new copy at pre-owned price. Told the guys that I was planning on using $20 in pre-owned certificates. He ended up selling me a brand new copy for $15.15

Purchase limit is 2. You can circumvent it by opening another account(you can use the same pur number) at your own risk. And yes, gamestop.com are thieves when it comes to refunding a gift cards when an order is cancelled. One time I used the same gift card on back to back orders and since I used it so close to each other there wasnt enough to cover the whole amount. So I owed about a dollar on the order and they could not(would not?) ad my bank card to cover the rest and I lost my $40. That order is still open in my account from about 3 years ago.

I hate gamestop.

Have you tried contacting the FTC? They're here to protect the consumers, they actually do help out.

Currently outside of gamestop. There's around 15 people here, can't imagine they're all here for the 3ds.

what about the 20% boost for trade in towards no man ? do I have to buy the game or is there a way to get the boost without buying it ?

You can just do a $5 deposit towards the game to trigger the boost, then go in another day and cancel the preorder.
