#14212577 Steam+ Deals Mega Thread (All PC Gaming Deals)

Random, but I have been replaying Fallout 4 the last few weeks. I've been enjoying it a lot more than the last time I played it, I think enough time has passed where the disappointment over what it's not has subsided and I can enjoy it for what it is (that being said, I always liked the game). It still leaves me with a desire to just boot up New Vegas, though.

All this just has me really hoping The Outer Worlds is awesome.

Epic Games are giving away 6 Batman games today, the Arkham Trilogy and the LEGO Batman games. Tremendous! Making game stores competitive again!

Damn, free Arkham trilogy is pretty sweet, although I already have all of them

Would never buy BL3 -- or anything -- on Epic.  Although from what I've read the humor is more juvenile than BL2 which doesn't make me want to play it.

nice, was going to wait for a sale, the humor in bl2 was too heady and i didn't understand it. needed something more memey and dumber for idiots like myself this is now a day 1 buy

It's a good indie game with simple but solid mechanics and good replay value.  It was way over-hyped due to Twitch streamers which probably leads to people feeling a bit underwhelmed when they actually play it.  I would rank it up there with the original Torchlight on the scale of well-produced and polished indie games.

it's a top tier rogue like for me

Slay the Spire wasn't a thrilling headliner for me, at least when it was revealed it wasn't, but people here really talked it up.

i wasn't excited to see it as a headliner but i really wound up enjoying it, played it non stop for a week or two

The Surge is free to play (not keep) on Steam right now.

worth a try imo, it's one of the better souls-likes i've tried out. actually finished it, plan to pick up the dlc once it's cheaper and replay it down the line

Pyre is 6 bucks on steam right now, which i think is a historical low, of course it'll probably be in this month's humble bundle or something

Also just read Borderlands 3 will be using Denuvo.  Take-Two/2K going full scorched earth policy on this one.  Maybe by the time it releases on Steam they'll remove Denuvo.  Probably not, though.

oh sweet, i was lukewarm on bl3 but now that i know it has denuvo i am IN

Not sure who I'm going to main. Either Moze or Amara, not feeling FL4K or Zane's skills.

I'm going with either Amara or Fl4k, I usually like playing as sirens, but I think Fl4k's skill set seems pretty neat

Is internet troll rage a bigger problem than global climate change or international human rights abuses? Because the dev set a standard on when it's appropriate to care about things and I intend to maintain it

yes it absolutely is, climate change and human rights abuses are important but we need to keep things in perspective here

Don't know about you guys, but when a videogame becomes exclusive to a platform I don't use or like, my natural reaction also involves suggesting suicide and using racial slurs.

Just me?

honestly im shocked there are people who DON'T respond that way, it's completely rational

Re: Monthly headliners and their value, I find it interesting that my favorite one so far is Stardew Valley, a $15 game that headlined a month all by itself.

Mine is probably Hollow Knight, with Pillars of Eternity being a close second. Dark Souls 3 would be up there as well but I sold it off because I already owned it so i don't really count that one

Slay the Spire is good enough for me for an early reveal, I just wish the other one wasn't a pure multi-player game.  If it were of the caliber of Mutant Year Zero or Surving Mars then this month would be a no-brainer, imo.

Yeah, it's a great game and its msrp is 25 dollars, which isn't really all that much lower than a lot of games that were headliners in the past, I'm pretty happy with it as a headliner now that I've gotten to play it, the issue is that the other game I have zero interest in

Started playing Slay the Spire today from the humble monthly...man that game is addicting. I tend to either get super addicted to rogue likes or not really care for them at all, this is one that's up there with the top tier ones like Binding of Isaac, Spelunky, FTL...definitely give it a shot
