ohhh, ok. I didn't realize that. I was just basing it off of me doing it once for a game my gf bought me that I already had on a different console and she had lost the receipt.

Morality aside remember that you will only get the last sale price (not sure how cheap it's been) and you can only do this a limited number of times that's why you have to present your id.

what do you mean by "morality aside"? it's not like the game is stolen or broken or like they can't just put it out on the shelf to sell it at their price?

I just traded in ghosts for ps4 last week for 34.50. it was 50% bonus.

Might do this with GTA 5 I never even unwrapped and ACIV I seem to have little interest in playing.  So I'd get $40 there, get $12 off with promo and another $3 off with red tag?  So essentially I'd then get Destiny for $5 plus tax?

if you haven't opened gta, just take it to customer service and say you don't have a receipt but you want to return it. you'll get store credit for what it's sold for. probably more than 20 dollars.

still looking to get rid of this!
