Finally tried out Vampire Survivors after all the positive posts. 4 hours later.... huh? Damn what a fun game!

It messed up on me as well. I was stuck on 2/3 and after unlocking a few more and spamming the app it finally registered. Now, I can't get Minecraft bedrock to launch without it immediately cutting back to the home screen.

It looks... bare minimum. Like the rereleases of the PS1/PS2 Final Fantasy games.
Sigh. Thought it was going to improve upon my most disappointing game, a game I tried very hard to like but never could.

Yeah, compared to CT it just doesn't stack up. The music was my favorite thing about that game. I couldn't even tell you much about the story and I beat the damn game, haha.

It's just an unfortunate side effect of society these days. Everyone's gotta be angry or offended by something. This month is weak for me, but hey if someone enjoys these offerings, more power to them. I'm more interested in this Spartacus project and have enough of a backlog that monthly banger offerings are of minor importance. Be kind, people. The world needs it.

Thanks, buddy.  I might pass on that Legendary Collection then.  I've got access to Black Flag through Games With Gold.  And I haven't spent $50 in a single throw in I don't know when.

Unity is gorgeous graphically and has some of the best parkour in the series. But, the story is meh and the collectible hunting is a slog. Black Flag is outstanding minus the modern day sections. I really enjoyed Syndicate, Evie is the more fun character to use in my opinion. Origins and Odyssey were great fun to me, lots to see and do in those worlds.

I unlocked 2 achievements in PvZ with no luck in the Shocktober quest. The quest completed after popping one in Alien: Isolation.

Are people who traded/sold their PS4 for a PS5 happy with the decision? 

I have a decent library of digital games and a few physical games that I still want to have access to if I upgrade.

Very much so. Load times alone make it worthwhile. I have both the 5 and Series X. My PS4 pro and One X were both starting to sound like jet engines too often, so I cleaned them out and sold them on FB marketplace. No regrets.

I was able to finish God of War without having to turn up the volume due to the fan noise the pro was giving me. Just do it!


 

Not sure if anyone here plays Genshin Impact on a PS4 Pro but mine overheated for the first time when at the log in screen and then again after a dust cleaning, blasting it with a fan until it cooled down and a reboot. The proper error screen showed and it is indeed hot so it wasn't a false reading or anything.
Anyone have the same issue? I know it's horribly optimized (because of course it is), but there's no way it just refuses to run on people's PS4 Pros. The only thing I can think of is that I have Supersampling on for my 1080p TV but that'd still be a massive oversight.

Haven't played it, but I had to repaste the thermal paste and replaced the thermal pads on my launch model pro because it was starting to have some overheating issues before I sold it.

I'd advise doing that and see if it helps the problem any.

if you went from PS4 to PS5; don't forget all the amazing titles that utilized PS4Pro power that you can now play on PS5!    God of War, Uncharted 4, Uncharted Lost Legacy,  HorizonZeroDawn1,  Ghost of Tsushima, etc.   
GOW is like checkerboard 60fps 4k, HZD1 is cb 4k/30, GOT is 60fps 4k, and Uncharted 4 & LL are 1440p/30.

It's so nice to be able to play GoW without my console sounding like it's preparing to lift off lol.

Been kinda swaying back and forth on wanting a PS5, but seeing these crazy-priced bundles really pushes me back off the fence into the firm "nope" camp. While the games included aren't the worst (minus sports titles), I don't feel like paying retail for stuff I'll pick up later on (for cheaper). Guess I should just keep holding off til next year (unless I happen to stumble upon a decent Target/WM drop with no bundled junk).

Yeah, most of the bundles are just way overpriced for what you get. I lucked out and snagged just a console on Amazon during one of their midnight drops. I was on the fence like you and satisfied with my pro, but on a whim grabbed it without much afterthought. I will say, the console really does feel premium and next gen. Load times are non existent, UI is smooth, and the Dualsense is a great controller.

Yep! About 3 or 4 years ago I heard Collective Soul's shine on mine and was like, what? That songs not that old! Then I remembered it came out in '93 and was 25 years old at the time . I heard 3 doors down's "Kryptonite" on it a couple days ago. Felt the same...

So, I finally scored a PS5 and am now looking to offload my PS4 pro. I recently upgraded the hdd to a 1 TB ssd and repasted and changed out the thermal pads. What do y'all think would be a reasonable price to sell it at? 3-350? Should I ask for more?

I've looked at FB marketplace and OfferUp and there are price points all over the place. Thanks for any insights.

Yeah, it's really sad to see all the hate, but unfortunately that's the internet these days. Both those guys seem like really good dudes. It was definitely a frustrating journey at times, been trying for 2 months to no avail and then within the last week I've managed to get both the PS5 and Series X. Just takes persistence.
