FYI Best Buy is offering $200 for the One X as well. I know people tend to prefer Game Stop here (though I’m not sure why), but I might take mine to BB since I’m in the market for a new router anyway. Still have another One X and now the Series S.

Pardon my tardiness!
It sounds like you already got your answer, but yes, they are both wonderful games, Mega Man 9 is one of the best in the original style series.
I would recommend the Legacy Collection 2 over the 360 versions since it includes all the DLC and some minor quality of life improvements, like checkpoints for saving. The original 360 releases don't have them, and so they are a little bit more challenging.
If you don't have a lot of experience with the series, MM9 can feel a little too punishing, but I think that game is perfect. The soundtrack is also killer.
Just adding on to the Mega Master’s recommendations, MM9 is amazing but also probably a bit of nostalgia awesome for me because MM2 and 3 were my favorites (and the only ones I had) on the NES growing up. Definitely feels like a direct sequel to those. MM10 is a little bit weirder, but also has an easy mode with no spike deaths and (if I recall correctly) a way to survive death pits or maybe just extra platforms.
I do agree w/ GGP though that the collection is probably the better way to go with all the DLC and save states, but if you don’t want to spend that much or just want 9/10 and not all the rest, hard to beat $2.
On a completely separate note, wanted to come here to share a couple MS Rewards app goodies I found (on console):
If you don’t have GP but game share w/ someone who does, you might have a punch card for FIFA 21 that says you need to subscribe to complete. You don’t have to. Just clicked all 3 buttons on my fiancé’s account and scored a free 1000 points. Also, there are currently 2 Destiny 2 punch cards, each requiring you to purchase 1000 Silver ($10, or less if you have GP) - not sure how long the Guardian Games one will be up since it says “1 day remaining” but if you have $10 and like buying cosmetics in D2, one single Silver purchase counts for both punch cards. Just be sure to activate them both before buying it directly from one of them, and then when you click into each it adds the check mark.
Finally, open to some suggestions for easy GamerScore games going forward. Many of the common ones are already done in my library. We need some new cheeseable games!

TL.DR: if you have 2 emails associated with your MS account, try the main one, not the other one. For example, when I created mine I had a Yahoo email address, but since switched it to have my Gmail as primary. On the web I can use either one to log in, but for this it has to be the Gmail one.

How do you like that Kishi controller? Is it comfortable when playing for a few hours? I like the look of it, but I wonder if a controller clip would be better since I'm used to using it all day.
It’s not bad, but a bit flimsy. I think the longest I’ve used it is about half an hour. I’ve tried playing Destiny via console streaming or Stadia before and I occasionally pop the left half of the controller off my phone (the non-charger half) when trying to maneuver or whatever. It’s good, but I'd recommend controller with a clip especially if that’s what you’re more used to.
Plus, might just be a personal problem, but I tend to mix up the A and B buttons when playing because my brain thinks I’m holding a Switch ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not really looking for game recommendations so much as “stuff” to buy from them. I’ll inevitability buy some games, but I have too much credit to just focus on that. Maybe a good headset or hard drive, etc.
I have a total of $566 expiring on different days, but all between April 12-26. I’ll have to look into the preorder and cancel option. Can anybody confirm this works and with consistency?
It would be a great loophole if that worked, but I’m pretty sure you can’t do that
Since you’re looking for “stuff” to get and not just games, why not look for the expansion memory for the series X/S? Would take a chunk of credit but be a good thing to hold on to for when you do get the system in the future.

Series S is in stock at Best Buy if anyone is interested. Just ordered one for pickup next week after the wifey and I finally agreed getting one is an ok investment (we have a 1 year old and are looking to move if things allow this year), especially since she’s been playing Sea of Thieves a lot lately and the loading times even on the One X are atrocious.

Only got a tad over 2000 rewards points this time around, helped by the 1K in Donut County - which was fun and cute but just freakin weird. Good weird, though.
Also, thanks to those mentioning the Covid shot. Got my first last week (Moderna), and decided to put it PTO so I have 3 days off after my next one. Hoping it’s not too bad but I’d like to be prepared in case of a fever or other reaction. Only 2 days or so of arm soreness from shot 1, in case anyone is interested. Stay safe, people.

Not too many games on that Game Pass list that are exciting to me personally, but adding more games is always a good thing for the hobby and the fans so I’m impressed there’s so many already confirmed. Maybe my baby girl will be old enough to watch/follow along with the new Lego Star Wars when it releases, so that could be fun. And I’m still really relieved that Halo Infinite will be on GP so I don’t have to pay for it up front, and I’m also happy it’s getting delayed a bit more (will it release on the 20th anniversary of CE?).
Also, the CyberPunk epileptic seizure thing is complete BS. Someone should have caught that, and people should be held responsible. And the idiots yelling at/sending the seizure-inducing video to the reviewer can go themselves.

Ugh, 65gb for Destiny 2 base game.
Sorry for the late reply, and I know the punch card has vanished at the moment, but if it comes back and you have access, you can stream it on Android and save yourself the download gigs. Then just make a character and unlock your subclasses (there were guides during the 10K quest I think) and you’ve got an achievement.
