Is it true that you can't return a kindle card or a shell card that you bought when you traded in games all in one transaction at gs?

I see, and to get multiple coupons you need multiple kongregate accounts?

Ok, I am completely new to this. How does this work? What is the gmail dot trick. Thanks in advance for your help. I do not have an iphone but I have an htc phone.

Gmail dot trick is where you have an email such as slickdealssucks @ gmail

You sign up for multiple accounts with variations such as sl.ickdealsuck and slick.dealssucks and they all filter the emails to the same gmail account/inbox.

It all depends lol. Hopefully Best Buy honors it. As for the oh so many of us that included preordered games. We play the waiting game of checking our bank accounts and (hopefully I do not have to maintain the amount of the preauthorized charges or I can, just will take some perseverance if necessary) watch the totals until everything is delivered and released. My wallet hates you by the way, but the gamer in me loves you. Put a second order in for birthday gifts for the list of family and friends that have a birthday in the upcoming summer months. They will be happy and my wallet will be somewhat happy haha.

Yeah, that's going to be fun. Going to have to create a calendar with reminders of which pre-orders are coming out soon.

I just noticed that the "free" skylander they were giving actually charged me for it too lol.

Me too.  I simply removed it from all orders and saved the $5.

If it makes anyone feel better, the last Skylanders sale with B2G1 Free worked on video games and mine NEVER got cancelled.

And you didn't share this with all of us?

I'm not exactly sure to be honest. I added a 10% coupon that I got in my e-mail while back, and it ended up taking 50% off ANYTHING. I added a PS4 to my cart to test it out, and it was $200.

Man, they're a mess tonight.

Which nintendo 3ds xl? I tried adding them earlier at the start of the glitch as well as some other consoles like playstation vita and xbox one but they did not work.

Yeah, I checked all the systems as well.

I know they updated that backerkit will close sometime next week, do you know the specific date perhaps, since I am still considering getting the physical edition. And yea, it sucks sony hasn't gotten back to them about a possible vita release, would love to add on to the vita library

to put it simply, there is no date whatsoever. They still need Sony's approval. We might get an update this week but its been February since they submitted.

#12575574 $175 credit toward the purchase of a new PS4 System when you sell GameSt...

Posted by MSUHitman on 18 March 2015 - 06:08 PM

Did anyone try an old 360 with an attached 250gb hard drive and higher for the trade in? I'm guessing it wont work as I remember reading someone post that they check the type of 360 it is. Just wanted some clarification. Thanks!

It won't work b/c any old style 360 is taken in as just that with the HDD as a seperate accessory.

The whole point of the promotion is to get the stores stocked with Slim/E 360's & Slim/K PS3's that will be easy to resell.

Some criticism for the type-0 game is much appreciated as to what exactly you like and dislike about the game. What you may dislike could be similar to someone else's and will help them and I decide to buy the game or not. Thanks!

I made a post a while back in a thread regarding the game.

I found it.

I edited it somewhat.

Type-0's story is anything but solid. It's kind of scattershot. Not much you can do when you have 14 characters (with a focus on the lamer ones), but even the main beats are pretty meh. Plus it has all the l'cie crap that nobody liked from the XIII series (I'm indifferent towards it).

The gameplay is fun (the rts-esque overworld battles are stupid, but infrequent), but revolves too much around the one hit kill mechanic which entitles waiting for an enemy to attack so they glow red and then hitting them then so they immediately die or for tougher enemies, take a ton of damage. Enemies also do a significant amount of damage, so at some point it becomes a matter of kiting these enemies around so you can hit them when they're vulnerable, again and again (or they're just fodder and die in two regular hits anyways). Most spells kind of just don't matter and leveling them up and learning new ones is a bit of a chore and involves some alchemy-esque mechanic that I hardly remember. Summoning is also somewhat worthless since you have to sacrifice a party member to do it.

Changing party members is limited (only at save spots and during battle if one dies). Each party member is unique though and makes playing all of them pretty fun, but there are clearly some that are much more powerful than others due to their unique skill or attack chain. They all have a number of unique skills, but are limited to only using four at a time which IIRC includes any magic and their basic attack. Also, the party levels up separately so if you're not careful you can put yourself in a corner where you only have access to your under-leveled characters as it's very easy to  misplay and have a character die. There is also no pausing in battle while the menu is open and you can you can only have a single item mapped at a time. I didn't have that big of a problem with this, but it could be a turn-off for some.

The side quest system is nuisance as you're only allowed to hold one at a time and the game is based around timed actions until the next story beat. Going to the world map for instance takes up your time and completing a side quest requires you to turn it back in. There is some side story stuff locked behind this that is easy to miss and from what I understand, it takes up to three playthroughs to get/see everything. So if you want to do as much as you possibly can in a play through, using a guide seems like a must.

I never beat the game. I put about 20 or so hours into it. I was really into it for the first 5-10 hours, but after that it just couldn't hold my interest granted some of that was just me not liking portable gaming as a whole. I would probably be willing to give it another shot because, despite my issues with it, I found the combat to be just fun, but not for any where near the full price they're asking for.

#12527317 Japanese Niche Games Deals Thread: Atlus, NISA, Aksys, XSeed and More!

What do you guys think on the prices for the sale compared to physical prices in general?

Most of the JRPGs going on sale today didn't get physical releases. The Atelier games are cheaper than they've ever been and rarely go on sale. SAO's never been cheaper either.

Also, undecided on whether to get the grisaia $120 physical copy of the all consumers edition or just get the michiru add on and wait for a hopeful physical edition of the 18+ version. What scares me is that I skip out on the physical edition and the physical 18+ edition never happens as it seems it is still under discussion. My wallet is crying...

The only physical game you can get through backerkit is chiruchiru, unfortunately.
