Not the biggest TLoU fan, but Part II being $10 digital seems like a good deal. Is that one worth picking up during the sale? Any other recommendations?

If you are a PS4 owner then yes $10 is a good  deal.

If you own a PS5 I'd wait.  Its 100% gonna have a remaster of TLOU2 next year, some sort of directors cut or whatever, there is no native PS5 version of the game right now.  Given the history so far they will also charge $50-70 for the "remaster" and there will be no upgrade options either, who knows if there will even be a save transfer option.  They are also adding a massive multiplayer mode to the game.

If you're a gamepass user consider extending your sub out a bit, the price will almost certainly go up next year and there is also the family plan which seems to be 5 people can share one GamePass Ultimate sub, for a slightly higher price (similar to Nintendo Switch Online but thats 8 people in a family).

If its like the PS+ conversion stuff that happened this year when they do announce price hikes they tend to lock out adding time and stuff until prices change.  I topped off to 3 years for my gamepass ultimate using MS rewards, and also activated the new "auto redeem 1 month of gamepass ultimate" option in MS Rewards.

What are the chances that anyone will have Demon's Souls, God of War Ragnorok, or Call of Duty Modern Warfare II on sale?

I know the last two just came out, so probably unlikely, but Demon's Souls has been out for a while, hasn't it?

Demon Souls is $30 on the PSN store (digital) and PS Direct (physical), its also part of PS+ Premium along with a ton of other games and imo you can play and beat it in a few weeks easy with no real replay value.

The other two I'd wait and see if there is any sort of overall B2G1 at Target or Gamestop post x-mas, that'd be a good time to pick those up if you don't want to pay full price.

Yeah deals are pretty crap this year, especially on digital games.  Only pickups I've done are New Tales from Borderlands for $30 from amazon and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands NLE for $20 from amazon.  The prices on Gotham Knights, Saints Row, and Gran Turismo 7 are a joke considering those games did poorly and some of them have heavy microtransactions.  The first two are almost certainly gonna be on gamepass and/or PS+ next year.

For what its worth on my PS5 I was able to buy 1 year of PSNow for $59.99, it says good until 3/29/23 and I turned off auto renew.  I could not add more years, it gives an error when you try.

I already have 4-5 years of PS+ so it'll be interesting to see what happens in June when they flip on the new tiers.  Allegedly if you are currently PSNow you will be converted to the highest new tier ($120/yr) but they also said people who have PS+ will stay on PS+, so those two statements kinda conflict.

I'm sure theres a chance I'll get screwed but I'm lazy enough to know Sony will eventually fix it, if they somehow convert my 5 years into 1 year or something like that.

It hurts paying actual MSRP for any of these things but I browsed a few games on PSNOw (never subbed before, not even trial) and saw Infamous 1 & 2 and GTA Vice City (remaster) and Shadow Warrior 3 (download/ps5), I'd like to play all of those so hey its sorta worth $60 and I assume it'll even get better in June.

1 year PSNow sub cards have been yanked from amazon, best buy, gamestop, walmart, target, etc so not really sure where you could buy more codes or if they will even work.

Octopath traveler for 28.99 but I don't know if I should get it some people have said it's boring af

its on gamepass if you have an xbox, i played for a while and found it pretty repetitive and boring.  I did really enjoy Dragon Quest XI and stuff like Persona or Yakuza and even the first Bravely Default but Octopath was fun for 10-15 hours and then just became a slog.
