#14279064 PSN Weekly Deals - 9/9: PlayStation VR/Essential Picks/Games Under $15 S...

So here’s an...oddity I’ve noticed. The Disaster Report 4 - Epilogue Part 2 costs $7.99 US, by itself.

https://store.playst...000000010000023

But it’s also part of the Disaster Report 4 - Fade Into Memory Bundle...which is free.

https://store.playst...R4FADEBUNDLE000

So if you get the free bundle, then the $7.99 DLC shows as being purchased.

Glitch of some kind I’m guessing?

Overpass ain’t got s*** on Snake Pass.

Dammit. You making that comparison made me think that this Overpass game was another snake simulator kind of game, which got me excited (even if it wasn’t going to be as good as Snake Pass).

I am disappoint.

#14239327 Best Buy Cyber Monday 2019 Deals (Yes, GCU stackable)

Posted by Awkward Silence on 02 December 2019 - 04:28 AM

How do returns/rebuys work when you used reward certificates on an order? Got one that I’d like to return and rebuy to use the GCU discount and one that’s actually cheaper on the Eshop, but reward certificates were used on them. From what it looks like the reward certificates were kinda spread equally across the entire order, so if I were to return an item would I get that portion of the reward certificate back as well or do I just lose out on that amount?

#14232609 Anime & Manga Steals and Deals (Rightstuf, Amazon, DD...etc)

That gundam coupon was surprisingly generous. It brought down the G Gundam blus to $30 each.

Maaan I wish I got that code. Been looking for both parts of G Gundam and the second half of Gundam Wing for that kind of price for awhile now.

What a weird combo, you an find both for this price separately but nice to have a bundle.

Don't get the physical of Starlink though, get the digital deluxe. You get all the ships with the digital copy but have to buy the physical toys if you have the physical game for the rest. Not worth it after buying all the toys.

Pretty sure you can mix and match between digital and physical, so buying the physical game doesn’t mean that you’re now forced to only getting the physical ships.

Besides, going physical does have some advantages - namely that it’s the only way that you can use duplicates of weapons or wings on your ship. In fact, it’s the only way that one can access the almighty (looking) “Godwing” ( https://m.imgur.com/a/gDgYWAD ) in the game. Plus, if you wanted to ever get the PS4 or Xbox One version (as they have better graphics/performance), then you’d already have all the ships and weapons available to you.

The 4 free Attack on Titan 2 DLC costumes being listed right now might be a mistake, as they’re all listed as being pre-order bonuses of sorts (“Early Purchase Bonus”) for the Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle Upgrade Pack ( https://store.playst...attack on titan ). So if anyone is interested in getting them, I’d suggest doing it sooner than later before the mistake possibly gets corrected.

#14165836 Nintendo $50 eShop Digital Code $41.95

Posted by Awkward Silence on 17 May 2019 - 05:03 PM

There’s an option to text MASSGENIE to 80000 and get a code to get $5 off an order or $35 or more. I’m assuming that it stacks with this deal...?

Edit: It does not. Only one coupon per purchase allowed it seems.

#14061494 ►Best Buy: Get $10 in Rewards or eGift Card (w/Pre-Order)

Posted by Awkward Silence on 03 October 2018 - 04:30 PM

Returned my TR long before the points were even pending and still got a $10 cert today

I had returned Far Cry 5 earlier this year after getting the $10 gift certificate. What ended up happening afterward is that my points actually went into a negative after some time. So keep an eye out for that.

#13902566 OLD DEAL/ EMAILS FINALLY SENT OUT Best Buy $10 Savings Code with $1...

Posted by Awkward Silence on 09 December 2017 - 04:31 AM

That is amazing.  I wonder what has been protecting me - I have returned a ton of stuff.  Probably 20 or more things in the last couple of months.  I do buy an enormous amount from Best Buy and my returns are either me returning something that arrived damaged and buying it again or returning things to the store after rebuying them due to a lower price since it's quicker than trying to price match online orders.  I'd be surprised if I'm not in the lead for highest number of returns.

I did buy a thing after that wasn't a $10 PSN card and it went through no problem. So I'm thinking it's most likely a stopgap put in place purely to stop people from getting $30 credit from just $30 worth of PSN cards. Either that, or the system is automatically flagging buying the same thing in multiple transactions as suspicious or something.

Ooo, Portal -3- is listed as only $9 on that spreadsheet! That's a fantastic bargain for a game that hasn't even come out yet! XD

Sarcasm aside, that typo might need to be changed.

#13878608 (YMMV) $15 Credit when purchasing $50 worth of Amazon Gift Cards

Posted by Awkward Silence on 16 November 2017 - 06:49 PM

Ha. So, an update and a bit of irony - the thing was kinda glitchy from the start, as when I was trying to fill out the gift card to send digitally via email, it wouldn't take any email because it said the email needed an @ symbol to be valid, apparently not recognizing the one I already had in it. So I did it via texting to phone number instead, which it took. Went to checkout, applied the promo code (which was accepted) and was going to complete the purchase, but got paranoid that I might have put in the wrong number (I definitely didn't want to send $50 to a random stranger after all) and just in general didn't trust sending it by text message, so I went back and tried the email delivery again. This time it worked, so I deleted out the text message version one and went to checkout, but the promo in...only for it to give me an error message telling me that it had already been used, despite me never finalizing the purchase the first time around. Apparently I had unknowingly burnt my one-time use of it, which is kinda cheap that it works that way in my opinion.

I tried remaking the text delivery one exactly as it was before in hopes that maybe Amazon would let the be reapplied to it. Now I'm just getting an error message simply saying that it can't be applied to my purchase. Aaaand the little advertisement that was showing up informing me of the promo is no longer appearing.

So yeah, that was fun. Especially in that not-really kind of way.

TL;DR: If you get it to work, do NOT cancel out of that transaction or else you'll lose it.

That, or Amazon reads these forums and didn't like me sharing.

Posted by Awkward Silence on 16 October 2017 - 04:16 PM

That's weird. Starship Disco is apparently no longer on sale? When I go to it it's being listed as full price. Was it actually apart of the flash sale, or is it some kind of glitch that's happening? All the other PSVR games are still listed as being on sale.
