Yeah, I figured this would be a hard purchase given the price range. But, I'm stuck between he's a teen who nonchalantly destroys everything regardless of price/quality (see Ikea hand-me-down desk I owned for ten years under heavy use that he managed to wreck in under 2) and he wants the visually cool things without knowing why. Example, he has asked me for a 'mechanical' keyboard, when pressed for details, he pointed to his mom's G910. When pressed again for actual details, he said, one that is mechanical and goes type-y typ-y.  Previously, he had asked to permanently borrow his mom's other keyboard, a CoolerMaster MasterKeys Lite...a membrane keyboard.  :wall:

I got my teenage niece a refurb Red Dragon off Amazon for 29.99 with blue keycaps. Its got rgb and she loves how "clicky" it is.

Apparently there's going to be two mobile Final Fantasy VII games, FFVII First Soldier and FFVII Ever Crisis. Ever Crisis is going to have all the FFVII compilation games.

THe FF7 Ever Crisis looks like a pocket remake, ala FF15 Pocket edition, chibi characters on the overscreen and the fights look turn based ish with Remake lvl graphics, Im just excited all the compilations going to be in here: Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerb, Advent children(?), and Before Crisis. I dont think Dirge was bad just they were just to early, FPS on a console was way in early stages and a control scheme was terrible

Honestly The First Soldier is a neat idea, I think It would be better on PC/COnsole than on phone, really depends on how it plays. Using a materia system in a Battle Royal could lead to some interesting gameplay ideas, since you could find materia and have a different game each time.  But honestly I dont trust SE not to turn it into a Gatcha/Micro cash grab. Who remembers that stupid FF mobile game where you had to buy champions and it basically played itself

Thanks, though they’re both now constant even on the latest official firmware if used in conjunction with a program called Infinity, so there are definitely some differences aside from those. Appreciate the reply, though.

Ahh sorry its been at least 4 years since Ive even looked into it much. I remember it was pretty easy overall and didnt have much issues with either Pro or ME when I used them. PM me if you need any help with backup files though I still have a bunch from back in the day pre-converted

I’m not really sure where to ask this and Google is being uncooperative, so I thought I’d see if anybody here remembers anything about PSP modding. I’m trying to figure out what the differences between the two major custom firmware options (Pro and ME) are. All I’ve been able to pick up from searching is that both are pretty much equally good and it depends on what you want out of them without anyone going into any detail about what each actually excels at.

IIRC Pro is constant, and ME is one you have to re-run per boot? IDK I know I still have all my files from my PSP modding on my server but I have a VITA now. So other than checking the games every once In a while to scratch an itch I really havent kept up with the scene

I stopped by my local West Bend, WI store.

They had 3 Nintendo Switch Labos for like 25 dollars, I saw Robo and I grabbed a variety, there was 1 more i didnt check so 2 still in store)

They Also had 2 Corsair Glaive RGB Pro mice on clearance for around 16.50 after the 40% off (I snagged both)

They also had like every iLive branded accessory out, 10 Ft USB to Micro cables, 6 Ft USB to USB-C, 6 ft Braided Lightning cables for 1.80 ish after discount.
iLive Webcams 4.50

iLive BT Radio car chargers (Idk the exact name, usb car charger with build in BT 5.0 and the ability to send out a radio frequency) for 4.50

iLive Wallbricks (3 plug ins 2 USB) 4.50

iLive Powercells 8000mah 4.50

Tracphone Moto e6 scanned for 39.99 (im guessing it doesnt count towards the 40% off clearance)
The were some wireless earbuds and over-ear sets too I didnt check price (Im going to wager between 3.00-7.50)

Edit: I checked everywhere for games and came up empty all the back end-caps, in and around electronics, all the aisles no clearance games for any system I could find
