My Metroid Trilogy from the restock came in. Steel book and all 😃. Also found a copy of Ys VIII Adventurers Edition for Switch at a store that was just traded. I guess the pictures are flipped for some reason. Metroid was $35 since I bought a new game along with it.

I am pretty sure all 2DS XL's are TN screens. I have the Hylian Shield one and the screens are bad, but its still a super cool system. I had a Majoras Mask XL that was top IPS bottom TN but had to retire it after one of my dogs got a hold of it. Shortly after I ordered a Hyrule edition for $100 credit and showed up in great shape and dual IPS. Dual IPS is by far superior.

Went looking for Ring Fit Adventure today, each store I checked showed stock but only had luck at the third one. First one they were clearly saving the last one for someone and the second one the guy wouldn’t even check. Called third one and guy said no at first but found it and put it on hold. Check the app inventory if anyone is looking for one.

I looked for two replacement games for the one that is out of stock, Katamari Reroll is a little more expensive, but it came out to 68->78.

I checked one of the cards I used for the canceled order, and it has almost all the original $50 amount minus $2.40 that shows on the order page. I’m guessing the rest of the balance went back on my main card, but I didn’t double check. So I paid $2.40 for Mario Party and Yoshi. Good outcome for me but I can see this being a mess for some. I doubt they will ever do b2g2 again especially on current gen.

Got over 100k points added today, don’t even know if that includes the online orders I did. Also I found the goldmine at one store. Imagine the potential with 50%.

Went to pick up my last order from the Labor day deal today, said it was ready for pickup. Employee couldn't find the preowned switch game, and ended up just handing me a new copy of the game. The order still shows ready for pickup. I'm sure he verified I had the order on his end, but he just looked at the email I showed him and didn't give a receipt or anything.

Just checked my balance and it appears I got a refund of around $38 bucks to my trade card for the game they cancelled. I guess I will pick up my copy of Mario Kart for around $20. Definitely wont be ordering for pickup again until they fix things.

No go with a Wild Wings gift card. My brother tried and obviously wasn’t expecting it to work, but it did not.

The thrift stores in my area are pretty much dead at this point, they are definitely pulling games and other valuables and selling them elsewhere. I do have luck occasionally at the by the pound outlet stores, but garage sales are where I find most of my stuff now. And yes if something sells for way more on eBay I’ll list it there, but if it’s around $10 and has a $2 base, it’s worth it to just ditch it at GS.

Quick question, does gift card cover tax?

Didn’t pay anything out of pocket, the gift card covered tax.

Don't want to make a mistake, you bought xbox credit and bought a rift S?

Can xbox credit be used on Microsoft store physical items?

Yes, I got one for around $380 after taxes and student discount. I bought 4 $50 cards off the site with no issue but the 5th order went under review. Still received it, but probably better to go in-store or do a mix of both. Went in store to get the rest. Can be used on anything physical as far as I know. Came a few days later and it is awesome.

Saw somebody mention those gaming PC's, and looking at them they're pretty spendy.

Best one I saw had:

Intel i9-9900K
16GB DDR4
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 8GB
1TB SSD

That's for $1879.99. For the stuff listed, by itself, that seems like it's at least $500-$600 too high.

The Microsoft store has some computers too, they seemed a little high too last time I checked, but probably still better than GameStop. I bought a bunch of Xbox credit a few weeks ago and ordered a Rift S.

Two of the same game at one store is fine, but usually the employee won’t allow it. Got almost $400 on my first run today, great promo. Definitely expect some values dropping very soon. Rare Replay and Sonic DX for GCN showed $2 on the app, but the computer said $1.5 so there might be some discrepancies.

Sorry, folks, been out of the trade game for a while, but looking to build credit for an Oculus Quest; how does one find the SB list these days? Thanks!

On their trade site type in mwtmay19 and it will give you a list of 300+ games to trade.

I bought a Quest with credit last week and I’m blown away so far although it’s my first major VR experience. I encourage anyone with tons of credit to try it out if interested, totally worth it for me.
