#14245595 Sairento PSVR $14.99 New 13.99 used Gamestop

Posted by Adam Quest on 16 December 2019 - 09:25 PM

God i hate gamestop. Ordered it online for pickup. Of course its the open copy with giants stickers all over it. Not giving that as a gift.

Punk ass dude working was like youre the only customer who has ever cared in the 5 years ive been working here. Wouldnt cancel it for me. Said i had to let it time out after 7 days.

WTF EVER

There is no way you are the only customer who has ever cared. I have walked out of Game Stop before b/c the only "new" copy they had was the case on display and a disc behind the counter. I am with you - if I am buying it new, I would like it sealed and if you don't have it sealed, don't give attitude to the customer.

Also, there is no way he couldn't cancel that for you. You could have just paid for it, and then asked for a refund back to your card.

#14245492 Best Buy DOTD: Jedi Fallen Order $39.99 on Both platforms

Library Video game check out? That a brilliant way to save!

My local library (here in the Boston, MA area) has a TON of games and usually has many copies of new titles and each library card holder can borrow two games for up to two weeks. They are part of a network of libraries (40 libraries from surrounding towns), so you can use the app to look up a game and request it for pick up at your local library (if your local doesn't have it available). It's great and has saved us a ton of money on buying games over the years.

Best Buy online chat price matched this for me this morning. Best Buy also has free 2 day shipping through the holidays. $15+tax shipped via 2 day = sold.

Come on $10

The game is worth $60 IMO. It is the best VR game I have played since getting PSVR this past holiday season. I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed.

This is my good deed of the day...

If anyone wants a 20% off PSN Store coupon, here is the code (expires 6/30/19). Won't work if you have used this coupon type in the past on your account (which is why I'm giving it away since it won't work on my primary account)

Code: 3THTLBTRG3

Will only work once so first to use it, gets it. Enjoy.

#14173099 Spider-Man PS4 $19.99 or $15.99 w/ GCU Best Buy

Tetris Effect is finally on sale (at BB) but it's the physical version. I don't want any physical discs for VR (too difficult to switch games w/ the headset on)! Astro Bot is on sale (physical) as well - if you don't mind physical discs for VR and don't have this game, I 100% recommend getting it as it's mind blowing.

Is there a website that tracks the price of digital games on the PS4?

I use: https://psdeals.net/ . It's fantastic - you can create wishlists, get notified via email when there is a price drop, and see pricing history of every game (in a graph format so you can see how often it goes on sale, what the price was, etc.). The front page also shows you all digital items that have gone on sale over the past 24 hours, often listing them faster than the PS Store displays them at.

Raise still has $25 PlayStation points cards for 13% off. Also, if you use the code MEGA today, they give you another 7% off. I just got another $25 card for $20. I have a special link that gives people $5 off of their first order on the site (which full disclosure gives me $5 off also), and the site is legit. You don't even have to buy a PSN card, they have gift cards for 3,000 different businesses. And, I use them all of the time. I usually get my code for PSN less than a minute after I have ordered it. You can message me if you want my link for $5 off. I only ended up paying $80 for $100 of PSN cash this last month. It's a good way to save extra money on these sales.

Can't you just put your referral link publicly instead of asking people to DM you? Or is it unique for each user you send it to? Seems like it would save you and others some time.

First time Drunkn Bar Fight (it's a VR title) has been on sale for those who have been waiting. I purchased at full price last week - silly game, but not sure I would recommend it. I also got nauseous within 10 minutes of playing.

Is PS+ worth it for somebody that doesn't play any online games that need + to work? My birthday is in three days, and I was thinking of spending some birthday money on a subscription, since the discount on digital games seems way better, but since I have zero plans to play online games that use it, I'm just wondering if it's worth it.

PS+ tends to go on sale a couple of times a year for $40/year. I would recommend purchasing it then, and purchasing a couple of years at that time, that way you don't have to worry about the renewal cost. As mentioned prior, I couldn't imagine not having PS+ due to the backlog of monthly games which I have (and many I have not played). Plus (pun), the discounted game costs do add up and you get cloud storage to backup your game saves (in case your hard drive crashes or you want to transfer the saves to a new console).

You can play two-player online co-op via SharePlay.

Whoa, this is a really cool feature I had no idea existed. Problem is... I have no friends :(
