It's just $30 man. You either got it or you don't

Sure, either I have it or i dont; and i did.  But I still view it as a bit un-ethical.  Id they get 100,000 thousand people to sign up for gamers club unlocked at 30 bucks a year they are taking 1.5 million dollars per year from it in pure profit.  Smart business if they can sell the features. But I see they are creating features of FFC by taking away what they use to offer, not unlike what games now are doing with DLC.

i love the internet, where expressing opinions is being a troll.  look in my account history, i was the 53rd person to sign up for cag and have been here since the beginning; I hardly think im hear to rock the boat.  I just got disappointed when i look at best buy sale prices and I realize a majority of their prices require GCU to get sales prices that were once given for nothing.

The gcu prices are better than any other stores. The double points and $10 preorder certs stacking with 20% are great too. Black-Friday makes gcu with it for me alone.

Indeed the prices are better then other stores.  Yet again; their motivation for really pushing the envelope so to speak went away with Circuit City demise.  Wal mart is more or less a video game vending machine that doesn't emphasize game selling more then a convenience.  The other main competition, Target at least in my area, seems to be doing away with video games and blu rays as their selection deteriorates in front of my eyes.  Literally has gone from over aisles of blu ray in target, to one aisle.  Now the sheleves are scattered in with dvds dominating.  They kind of are doing the same thing with games, where they made a 20 dollar section which is shrinking over here and now all that's left is a single aisle of newer release games and a spindle in front.

Gotta say after two years of owning best buy gamers club unlocked everything I thought about it panned out to fruition. Eventually it would be a way for Best Buy to snooker 30 dollars out of you.  They used to put games on sale for 20 dollars regularly.  Now instead they put games on sale for 24.99 and after the 20% off your paying what prices of games once were plus they get the 30 dollars out of you upfront.
