Hydrophobia was like a buck a month or two ago. Picked it up for that reason alone.
Looking at the price history for this game at www.storeparser.com, it was never as expensive as it is now. Unless I'm not reading it right.

That should get you solid 1080p gaming. Might have to tweak some settings down from high to medium. The only upgrade I would absolutely recommend would be to put an SSD in there. Even a 2.5 sata drive. Especially if you can put an m.2 nvme drive in. Install Windows on that. I'd also think about getting 16gb of ram in there.
You can get a 120GB SSD for $18+tax right now....perfect for an OS install. It is the single best quality of life improvement you can make.

I wonder if they’ll open up the Anthem demo to do a stress test or something as the weekend goes along. Don’t really want to pre-order - after all the price debacles in November and December, I’m hesitant to pre-order anything at all - but I may go with a month of EA Access again just to try it out some more. Enjoyed the Alpha, but it was very limited.
There's another demo period next weekend (Feb 1st) and it'll be open to all. Everyone can try it out then. No need to preorder if you don't want to.

At first I regretted getting the Game of the Year edition of Shadow of Mordor, because God the main game kinda drags, but then the DLC introduced being able to ride on a troll thing and vomit on enemies to death and when archer orc's are on a higher platform I like to think they're on a stage and this is the worst and most nightmare version of a wet t-shirt contest ever. I'm glad I got it now. Video games are fun.
And everyone complaining about Celeste makes me want to play Celeste now. I Have eight controllers and nothing to lose.

I just started doing my bing rewards stuff again 2 months ago and Ive managed to get 38k points off of purchases and doing daily stuff. Its not that hard to earn points im just saying. That being said I bought a year of xbox live for 24k points worth it in my books,

Multiple threads on people saying their daily streaks glitched and have to start from scratch online. But do my op to start anything with anyone. If people love MS rewards cool, if people dislike MS rewards cool. I said what I said and Im going to keep it moving. Merry Christmas and happy holidays
The daily set that is the basis of streak appears to update at midnight for your local time, though it doesn't seem to count unless you do it later in the day. I've had a few streaks broken because I did the set shortly after midnight. The daily search counter seems to reset sometime between 3am and 4am Eastern (or around midnight Pacific, when MS HQ's day flips), maybe that's when it's safe to do the daily set.
The streak bonus is simply 15 points x the number of days in the streak. You start out working toward a 3 day streak for 45 points, capping at 10 day streaks for 150 points. There are no extra bonuses for a longer streak, just some badges that seem to be applying one of the useless things from XBL Rewards that also don't account for anything in MS Rewards. So if your streak is broken, you're not out of a lot of points.
The program has a number of issues, particularly with poor / inconsistent stat tracking, but overall it's a decent payoff for little effort.
