I'm not even bothered by the price hike anymore. This will just make it much easier to move away from console gaming. I'm still planning to buy Spider-Man 2 and FF7 Rebirth but beyond that I'm not seeing much coming to PS5-only that I really want to play.

100% agree, after this move PS5 will probably be the last console I own.

My apologies for misunderstanding your tone. That's a bummer about them not giving away Quake 4 but Amazon sucks now anyways. At least I got Quake 2 remastered for free today, totally forgot I owned that.

If anyone doesn’t want their Quake 4 from Amazon tomorrow I’d definitely put em to good use.

So I’m actually debating on the i3 13th gen or the 7600x cpu now. I have seen many places that the i3 is the best value for gaming around and it comes with a cooler for $129.

Halls of Torment is a better version of Vampire Slayers too, you can actually control your main attack. It's still in Beta but $3.99, it is a nice mix of Diablo 2 and Vampire Slayers.

 

Edit: Yes I need a 7700 to play Halls of Torment  . Mainly I want to be able to play Total War Warhammer 1-3 in 1440p @ 144hz.  

I could use some advice here, my girlfriend is going near a MicroCenter next week, its 300 miles away from where we live so I need to take advantage of this. I plan on buying this AMD Ryzen 7 7700x mobo ram combo, I'll still need a psu, case and eventually a GPU but I am waiting for the 7700 gpu which should drop this month. Should I go with the 7700 cpu or the 5800x3d or even the 5600x3d? The benchmarks are close but I'd hate to be stuck with a 5800x3d even though this build will last me a decade, should really matter if im stuck on a older pc? All I will be doing with it is Gaming, Development work, mostly Python for GIS and art work in Inkscape, GIMP and Krita, maybe some Kdenlive video editing. 7800x3d would be super cool but its to rich for my blood. So, the 7700x combo or 5800x3d or 5600x3d combo??? Any case or PSU advice would be greatly appreciated, I have never built a PC so yeah..........

I have played a handful and I believe I’ve gotten every free game they have given out since the beginning, I use the heroic game launcher since I play on Debian Linux, I believe it’s on Windows too but don’t quote me on that. The Epic Launcher is complete shit but I get what your saying, it feels wrong to be playing Epic games.

It's now on Steam for the same price.

For everyone that can’t find the PS5 plus version of FFVII remake go to the remake intergrade store page then select the 3 dots and select FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE upgrade for PS4 version owners, on this page you will see a box that says GAME, change it to the other GAME and then you will be able to claim the PS5 plus version of the game.

I don't so no. But then I'm very cheap. A choice between the game by itself for a $1 or the game plus some DLC for 9 times that or the game plus all the DLC for fifteen times that is a no brainer for me.
