I finished Wo Long and all it's achievements.  It wasn't very hard after the first boss, especially in co-op.  Having a friend around helps a ton as you can revive each other.  AI companions are not available in all missions.  Most side missions at the end with bosses invovled.

The Weekly Rewards Set on the console rewards app finally let me complete the 3/3 achievements for the week keeping my streak.

Apologies if already mentioned, but it looks like they adjusted the March monthly 2k points thing on the Rewards app on consoles. Probably due to issues with achievements registering that people have mentioned. It now only requires 2 weekly quest completions, instead of 3. Just Hoping they fix the cheevo thing in time to secure this weekly, but the 2k was a nice bump.

Yeah, I don't want to miss that weekly streak!

Any Guilty Gear players? Is there a way to test the DLC characters in game, like training mode or something?

I want maybe 2 characters, but they're from different seasons and kind of expensive separately.

I paid for Bridget and she is perfect for button mashers.  I don't think there is a trial for the dlc characters though. They will show up in arcade mode and such as opponents.

Is there a site shipping to the US that has the Bayonetta Origins steelbook?  I think amazon.de would have shipped to the US, but it sold out really fast I think.

I finally finished Outriders after dropping it shortly after the Worldslayer expansion came out (did not buy it though). I thought I wasn't going to try the endgame stuff but I did a bit to get some achievements. I almost fell into the loot grind trap until I realized I've spent too much time on it (52h 29m, same amount of time I spent in Anthem) when I could be playing something like Tunic (which might leave later this month or next). I only have one New Horizons expedition left (the Wellspring) for the related achievement but I'm only Tier 11 and too lazy to grind to 12 to access it. I'm probably just going to uninstall the game after getting a few more "easy" achievements. The game is mindless fun and I'm glad I didn't buy it. 

The Xbox Club LFG thing is full of max rank people that help others with that stuff so they can farm better gear.  They helped a friend and I with that and the expansion endgame that needed like tier 25 which I was not about to drop 100 hours into farming.  The campaign is fun, but their version of endgame activities was just nothing but grind and bullet sponges. 

Wo Long ended up being a good co-op game.  You must do the first level solo, but you can co-op every level all you like and can revive each other as well.  I've had a lot of close calls with bosses or big enemies, but it's pretty fun with a friend (or two!).

I got through the first boss in Wo Long.

-I was level 10 and 25 morale helps a ton.   

-If you quit the game fast enough, you can load up at that checkpoint with the full morale again.

-I used the Wooden Cudgel weapon.

-Wail on him with X and only Press Y for a big attack instead of parry when you see the red at least in phase 1.

-Phase 2, don't hold back attack a lot and block when he does any attack.  

-Press Y for a big attack when your blue bar is full

-He will jump back and that's whey you get ready to parry his attack and do more damage. 

-At half health your AI friend will say something and a new icon will show up right of your martial arts icons

-Press Y+B when that icon is lit up and the fight will be over.

Here's hoping that one SIE person saying the quiet part loud will let it go through better now. It was nice to see they only want to block it since all the talking points have been largely bollocks.

That's been the case this whole time.  Nobody should have believed that SIE was really afraid of losing CoD.  They just don't want Xbox to have any wins.  It's a lot like politics these days.  Who cares if it helps the people, we can't let the other side have a good day!

It wasn't just you - I've seen *lots* of stuff about the first boss difficulty.  I was mentally preparing myself for the worst.

 

I've never played the Nioh games but it looks like I have Nioh + Nioh 2 on PS4 and Nioh 2 Remastered on PS5 from PS+.  I'm trying to figure out if I need to buy the season pass for Nioh 2 while it's on sale - I've seen conflicting reports on if the PS+ Remastered version includes the DLC or not and the PS store isn't making it easy to figure out.

I only played the demo so far and I can't deflect the first boss with B.  It worked on normal enemies, but the timing is really dumb on the boss.  I'm just not in the mood to learn a tough game right now.

Come on now. You know better.

 

Also rec Fallen Order for a soulslike, I played it on easy because I hate that game style and refuse to engage.

 

All these hoops for Outer Worlds upgrade, how much are they charging for the full thing anyways? I tried looking and they don't want to say.

Calling Death's Door a Souls type is a pretty huge stretch. Not really difficult and you don't really have any consequences for dying minus possibly a slightly long walk to get back to where you originally were.

You have to learn to play it correctly if going for the umbrella only run achievement.  That makes it pretty close.

I'm interested in finally trying out a Souls like game, and am looking for some feedback on a good entry point (something on the easy/forgiving side).  I have the Souls Trilogy, Mortal Shell, Wo Long, Sekiro, and Elden Ring to choose from (unless there's something on GP I'm missing).  Any recommendations on where to start?

Lords of the Fallen wasn't too hard from what I remember.  It takes 3 runs to complete it, but you end up killing bosses in 2 hits by the third run.  I tried an achievement for saving skill points when I started the game and the first few bosses were really hard. 

The only other I've played it Elden Ring.  It has a lot of grinding spots to level up and OP builds to work towards.  It's tough, but has a lot of options for getting better then going back.  I was super strong when I went after the first story boss and it was a joke after seeing all the fuss about it being hard.

Wasn't Outer Worlds given to us for free years ago? It says I don't own it now in any case.

Game Pass.  You might be thinking of Outer Wilds from Mixer.

The Game pass version does not upgrade.  You need to own the base game and both DLCs then pay $10 to upgrade. 

Most people I'd think completed it on game pass and bought the DLC, so they need the base game and upgrade.  It's $60 for the base game digitally then $10 for the upgrade, or $60 for the full next gen version. 

I like $13 on Best Buy +$10 upgrade.

Sad news is the new version is just 1k gamerscore with all DLC built in.
