#13983992 WWE 2K18 for Nintendo Switch, $12.49 at Target (YMMV)

Posted by Moonbathing on 21 April 2018 - 01:17 AM

Just read on another site that Target stores have WWE 2K18 for Nintendo Switch marked down to $12.49.

I wish I could get it, but there don't seem to be any Target stores in my area selling it at that price.

If they weren't on the earlier closing list, then 10% most stuff, 5% consoles and lego.  Would be same as everywhere else.

If on the earlier list, would be approaching 80% or closed by now.

Where can I find the earlier closing list?

#13976370 School me on slickdeals

I've only ever used CAG to keep up with video game related deals, but I often see people mention slickdeals.  How do they compare to CAG?  Should I be following them too?

Exciting times. But it's missing (either still in development or cancelled?) Blood & Truth, Dead Secret, Dragonflight, Dreams, The Exorcist: Legion, Godling, Golem, Hellgate, Mind: Path to Thalamus, Obduction, So Let Us Melt, Star Child, Transference, Unearthed Inc: The Lost Temple, Vacation Simulator, Visage, White Day 2: Swan Song, and my personal favorite (non-U.S., of course): Summer Lesson: Allison Snow and Chisato Shinjo  8-[

Not sure about most of those games, but Dreams VR mode isn't expected to come out for a while (if ever).

LOL!  Thanks.

10%?  If they're closing all stores, you'd think they'd have better deals than that.

How of Farpoint with Move Controllers instead of Aim? Can you even use just the Move controllers?

If you're not going to play Farpoint with an aim controller, I wouldn't recommend playing it at all.  You're better off waiting until you get an aim controller.  It improves the game experience greatly.

I'm trying really hard not to spend $150 or $200. Just recently during the last sale I bought Apollo 11, Arizona Sunshine, and Thumper. I haven't even had a chance to play them yet and they'e already cheaper.

Can you guys tell me if this strategy makes sense? Should I lean towards buying the games I want to play that are 70% off vs the games I want that are just 25%, 40%, 50%, etc? I have such a backlog, I feel like I can hopefully wait for them to go cheaper.

But then again I could just say " Fuck it" and blow my GS credit and PUR points on PSN cards.

If you already have a backlog, I'd recommend not buying any games.  All it will accomplish is adding more games to your already existing backlog.  Play the games you have.  The other games will go on sale again.

Buying something just because it's on sale just to save money, then not using it, is counterproductive.  I know you feel like you're saving money, but you're actually wasting money.

Maybe you could give the guy a break and just pass over his post without needing to complain about it.  He's posting about memories of his dead mother, but what's apparently more important to you is to point out he's off topic or posted in the wrong thread.  Nice.   [-(

Who's complaining?  I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt and asked how it was related to VR.  I never said it was off topic or that he posted in the wrong thread.  Maybe learn how to read.

I loved Hot Shots Golf 3. Me and Mom would play that for hours on end.

I got Everybodys Golf hoping to recapture some of that magic now that Mom has passed but it doesn't grab me the same way. I don't like not having the chatty cabbies and the fun characters either

Maybe I am missing something, but how is this related to VR?

There's a new free VR app on the store called Snatch VR Heist Experience.

Based on the Crackle Original Series Snatch, this six-minute immersive experience transports you into the middle of a safe-cracking diamond heist alongside stars Rupert Grint (Harry Potter film franchise), Luke Pasqualino (“Skins,” “The Borgias”), Lucien Laviscount (“Scream Queens”, “Honeytrap”) and Phoebe Dynevor (“The Village,” “Dickensian). Snatch VR Heist Experience was an official selection showcased in Venice Film Festival Virtual Reality, the festival’s first-ever competitive section for VR works.

Is Farpoint worth it for $14.99 without the gun? I know the gun is supposed to make the experience ... but I found it on clearance at Target. Any thoughts?

It is significantly better with the gun.
