Anyone else have FOMO but can't find a deal on something they'd actually want?
Yes I have been looking over these ads over and over and feel like I have to be missing something as I see absolutely nothing I want this year.

I walked into the store today, and I said that the only thing that I was going to do was to use my $5 coupon on a $5 Xbox code. I did not need to or want to buy anything else or to renew my Pro membership that needs to be renewed on 1/1/2021.
The girl at the counter was so frightened that she didn't even circle the code on my receipt like she usually does.
LOL OK

How long was it? I am about to start this weekend.
It took me around 25 hours which seems about the normal.

Can someone explain how online pickup works? It seems like any game I pick, when it shows available at the store for pickup, it doesn't show it on the game page... so in other words, i can't store pickup anyting. HELP
thanks in advance <3
Try to put it in the cart for shipping then in the cart see if you can't change it to pickup at your store. If not try using the app as the site seems to glitch a lot and you can't place orders for some reason.

Okay, so I'm thinking about venturing up to my local GS and I'm wondering how curbside delivery works. The store's not located in a mall, so what do I do when I get there? Do I knock on the door? Just go inside? Is an employee always standing outside? Do I call and schedule a pick-up time? I have no idea...
You order online for in store pick up and wait for your "your order is ready for pickup" email. Then when your there (or more likely when your on your way) call them and let them know your order and your on your way. They will ask for ID so have your drivers licenses ready. They will meet you at the door, look at your ID, and give you your order.

I admit I was irked to find out this isn't really FF7, which was what the public was led to believe. This should have been titled FF7 part 1, or something of a different name. This is not a remake, just a portion of a game.
I had the same stance when Assassin's Creed Odyssey came out. I'm a long time mega fan of the series, spent thousands in merch, art, clothing, collectibles. Then AC: Odyssey came out and it was a bastardization of the series. I refuse to acknowledge it as an AC canon game, as you play as a mercenary, literally not even an assassin. Is it a fun game? It should be, I played 30 hours and quit. Yet is it a real AC game? Not even close.
I disgres... is this current FF7 a good 'real' game? It could be. Just don't call it what it isn't, a remake of the original game.
Just because its in different parts doesn't mean this isn't a remake because it definitely is and the "part 1" is almost as long as the original FF7. Also by that logic you could also say Resident Evil 2 wasn't a remake either as its more or less a different game. I think you might be getting remakes mixed up with remasters as remakes are supposed to be a little different to improve or to modernize existing games which this clearly does.

Collecting physical games is going to be so much harder and more expensive now.
I don't really think people realize how much this will change the scope of collecting physically because once GS finally goes under that's when shit will hit the fan IMO. As a lot of stores that are selling their games at better prices now are doing so to compete with GS but once they are gone they will be fine with just keeping their games at higher prices. Also before all the "your wrong and stupid" replies this is clearly my own opinion and nothing concrete just the way I feel about it.

After reading the last page of comments on why it is/isn't worth having people get your groceries I can honestly say this is the most pointless argument I have seen here in a long time. I get this is CAG but it honestly shouldn't matter what others are doing with their time and money. Its theirs to spend it how they like.

Reading things about Dave and IATCG and the length of CAG membership is nearly as boring as reading about whether $5 reward certs work on B2G1s for the umpteenth time. Nearly...
Carry on.
I'm here just for the penny guides.

Im catching up on last few pages and noticed some people saying any game with $2 base will work. The ad for this promo on gamestop website says ps4, xbox one, switch games. Can it really be any $2 base game? I have some wiiu games i want to drop and will take a look at some of my 360, ps3 games too.

Question? I just checked my account and it looks like I have 4 Birthday coupons for 20% off of a Pre-owned game. Has anybody had this happen to them? They each have different codes so I could get four different used games. If so,

You think they will be bankrupt in 3 months? Hahaha. Thanks for the laugh. If Microsoft and Sony both announced today that their next consoles wouldn't support discs, that still wouldn't kill the company that fast.
Yeah I get so many people are rooting for the demise of GameStop (actually no I don't understand) but for them to go bankrupt in 3 months with Christmas on its way takes the cake.
