Just got this email, was for my Mario Kart preorder.  Today a promotion was erroneously added to your order order number 11000000. We apologize for this experience, but we are unable to fulfill your order. Your order will be canceled, and you will not be charged.

If you would still like to have the item at the regular price, you may go to GameStop.com and place a new order.

We appreciate your business and understanding. If you need any help, we are always here for you!

Have a great day,

Your friends at GameStop.com

You’re playing games on a desktop? There’s your problem, toss that old thing down the nearest laundry chute and switch to a real man’s gaming machine like the ThinkPad 701C.

Yeah but then you run the risk of severe cockburn if you aren't too careful

Buying GameStop is not based on fundamentals or any kind of event. It’s a shitty company with shitty leadership with no vision.

Buying GameStop is just to squeeze. Which obviously worked. Are you telling me that it would have been a bad idea to buy the stock several months before the new consoles were released was a bad idea? Clearly the stock has never jumped in price at a console launch at all in the past

Are you telling me it would have been a bad idea to buy the stock several months before the new consoles were released? Not like this event hasn't ever happened before in the past.

I had $1000 in there from when it was under $5, but even then, I still sold at $400 after the final peak. Most people got in when it was much higher so yeah they’d have to dump thousands to make anything, or had call options like DFV. That’s where all his $$ was actually made.

Funny enough the real value around the same time was DOGE under a penny and selling when it somehow got to $0.70. I think it hit $0.01 the same day GME went nuts, but wasn’t a huge story in comparison. Again, if you put $10k into a meme coin, more power to ya haha

Wouldn't have been a bad idea to buy some in Spring 2020 with the new consoles coming out, though probably would have sold at that point.
