#14108269 Limited Run Games Thread - Global Outbreak of...Delayed Shipping

Shantae preorder closes soon

I’d really like to order the game, but it’s so hard to pay $45 for it.

Lots of LRG Vita releases appear to be at risk:

With the flurry of Q3/Q4 releases I can't say I'm surprised, but I am a little surprised they weren't keeping better track of the allotment.

Dang, this is pretty disappointing. I really hope Sharin No Kuni doesn’t get shafted.

Granblue Fantasy Re Link is the game we all need.

I'm glad an English version has already been confirmed. Day 1

Wow! That looked amazing! This is definitely a day 1 buy for me. Hopefully this gets released sometime in 2019.

That’s crazy you found Kirby’s Return to Dreamland for $.03. By far the best $.03 find at Walmart. Congrats dude!

#14080040 Ni No Kuni 2 Premium Edition $19.99 @ Bestbuy ($15.99 GCU)

In store or online? I thought GCU couldn't be combined with the mystery cert.

It works with GCU. I picked up a copy in store as well and had no problems. I just had him scan the code after the GCU discount and it applied right away.

I posted this in the GameStop thread earlier, but thought I’d post it here as well.

New copies of Owlboy have been converted to pre-owned. I checked yesterday and nobody had a pre-owned copy, but just about every store had new copies. I looked a little bit ago and it’s the complete opposite.

The Switch version is the only one that’s been converted so far. It’s a good deal if you still have Elite Pro.

#14059965 PS Vita Deals & Discussions Thread

A friend of mine is selling me danganronpa v3 ps vita for $23. Is a good price? I have the other ones but never play them.

If you do intend to play them that is a great deal. The Vita version has become quite rare and expensive lately. The cheapest used copy on eBay right now is $50 and that’s for the cartridge only.

I highly recommend you give the series a go. They actually turned out being my favorite games on the Vita.

It's apparently a set of side stories: https://spike-chunso...ogram/home.html

Well, I’m sold now. I had no intention to buy this, because I thought it was just Steins Gate and 0 remastered with anime graphics. I was content with having both on Vita with original graphics, but they had to go and add something like that. Oh well, I’m pretty excited about new content.

It's easily the worst game in the series. The level design is just incredibly haphazard, the metroidvania elements seem positively tacked on, and the only challenge is achieved through a few cheap sections. The writing is stale and the jokes are pretty much plagiarized wholesale from previous entries. There's no interesting character development compared to the story in previous entries, either. None of these are cardinal sins in and of themselves, but together they make for an incredibly weak experience. Literally the only thing it has going for it is being the first HD entry.

I guess it helps that I’ve never played any of the previous games. Maybe if I would have played some of them I wouldn’t like this game as much.

I can respect your opinion, especially coming from someone who’s played all the games. Honestly, makes me really want to try the other games if this really is the worst one.

I was fortunate enough to have a GameStop that let me do a return/rebuy to get the buy 2 get 1 free deal.

I got Arms, Hyrule Warriors, and Pokken for about $32.50 a piece. Pretty happy about that, especially since I’ve yet to see a deal for any of these games.

#14051174 Yoku’s Island Express Switch $20 ($18/16 for Pro/Elite) @ GS

Posted by Markmallow on 12 September 2018 - 03:16 AM

I tried the demo out tonight and liked it. It's quirky but it kept me intrigued. If I want to buy the game tomorrow do you recommend I just go to the store and ask for a used copy or order it online? Or does it just not even matter?

I would definitely go to a store, because you never know what you are going to get when buying online. You could very well get the cartridge only if you buy online.

I would just go over to the pre-owned Switch games and grab the case yourself. That way if there’s more than one used copy you can pick the case that’s in the best shape, if you care about that.

Also, if there’s more than one copy and you don’t like the condition of the cartridge just ask to see the other one. Employees have always been pretty cool about it when I tell them I’m a collector.

Lol ebay sellers are listing the pikachu and eevee system for 600+ sad thing is they wont sell

I have a feeling resellers will regret buying these. I could be wrong, but I fully expect these to be easy to get this holiday season.
