Speaking of Amiibos, is GS ever going to release Solaire amiibos? Probably more of a Nintendo/Virtuos issue ATM.

These games lists are looking a lot like Steam nowadays. A bit nauseating, really. I remember the days where, if a game was put on the eShop, it was most likely good. Now a good game is the exception.
I agree. Of course, like Backlash said, pros and cons to both sides, but I can't help but feel like we're going to get bunch of shovelware. Choice is always a good thing, but the crappy search/filter on eshop + it's like steam without the crazy steam sales = littered pile of shit (subjective) that we have to sift through if we haven't been keeping up to date.
Thank gawd for Frisky.
side note: going to pick-up Enter the Gungeon

Registered Mario + Rabbid (physical) and got 60 points = $0.60
Pre-ordering Dead Cells = 100 points
Pre-ordering Overcooked! 2 = 120 points
All I can say is it's better than nothing, but why the 1 year expiration though
At this rate, I'll have tree fiddy before having to spend it all

Got the pickup email, drove all the way to Target only for them to tell me corporate told them not to honor deals on “electronics.” They canceled it right in front of me.
Not trying to add insult to injury, but next time (if there's next time), go in anyway. If the app or website says "ready for pickup" but you didn't receive the pickup email, you can still go to guest services for pick-up. I never received the email, but it was ready @ guest services and they allowed for checkout (except they were suspicious). Or they can say "you need to receive email first". It's YMMV

Got my Octopath. Kinda wish I double dipped for more but can't bitch when I was gonna pay MSRP anyway for this.
Did not expect this many orders to actually last
Gawd damn, over 900 people reading this topic. Anyways, as always, this was highly YMMV.
Some store clerks caught on super fast, some didn't, some shipped, some received digital game codes within an hour, and most were cancelled. But what we can learn from this is that (for the highest chance of success) is that:
a. don't do anything suspicious (ordering multiples, ordering a "big amount", etc.) and
b. don't do anything suspicious

I preordered 3 games. Will probably get cancelled like all the others. My girlfriend ordered some random stuff: school supplies, a graphic novel set, and a chair.
Guess we’ll see what happens. This is all to be shipped too.
What a reasonable person. I hope you guys get all your stuff.

The sad thing is that there are people who simply want to play these games but they can't because you guys are buying them to flip from store to the next, moving credit from one store, holding on to them for the chance they might increase in value instead of contributing to society and getting a job, etc. At least the unethical activity in this thread has died down lately, no doubt helped by the information I have screencaptured, archived, and saved in a file that is a few GBs and growing to GS corporate.
Use the promos and shop as intended and you won't have to worry about this stuff. But no, everyone would rather take advantage and then paly the victim when things don't go their way.
And if anyone knows the whereabouts of Dealseeker or Blackbeard, please contact me immediately or have them contact me. Me and Blackbeard will be making a truce soon and fighting against the corruption of these so-called "deals" sites and will be starting our own. He doesn't know it yet, but I will make him a cash offer he can't refuse. The same for Dealseeker, another legend who was banned.

Dead Cells digital release date was announced to be August 7th!!!
Played a ton of this game right when it went early access two years ago and I poured in a bunch of hours. I have heard it has gotten leaps and bounds better even from where it started!
Apparently there is a pre-order discount too, though I haven't checked to see if it's even on the eShop yet!
I am excited about this game too! It is on the eshop as a coming soon title, but you can't pre-order it yet. I think I read somewhere that the pre-orders will go live in about a week or so.
eShop pre-order goes live JULY 18
Digital retail: $24.99 ($19.99 w/ 20% pre-order discount)
Physical retail : $34.99 ($27.99 w/ 20% GCU discount)
Physical retail : $29.99 ($23.99 w/ 20% GCU discount)

Not the $60 Wii Us and 3DS XLs. Happened around Black Friday 2014. Sears had a glitch weeks before Black Friday where they accidentally sold the Super Mario/Luigi U bundle and Blue 3DS XLs for $60. It was up on their site for less than 20 minutes yet kept the price up for longer than they should have.
I went to my local Sears and got the Wii U price matched from their own site and TRU to price match the 3DS. The very next morning, every other store that price matched were told NOT to price match those deals because of the giant price gap.
That's amazing. Idk what my life was like before CAG.. a poor ass gamer. Still kicking myself for missing GS flipcalypse.

Due to the (albeit minute)sale price with GCU and my $10 reward, and the My BBY offer for Destiny 2 for ps4, i pulled the trigger:: $40 total for Mario kart 8 deluxe and destiny 2. Not bad....and if there is a dip in price during July, i can still PM it within 30 days, I beleive? So if it does hit the $36 mark like Zelda did, besides the pricing error, then I can get my $10 adjustment I think....
Don't forget, depending on what you paid with, CC companies have PM too.
