This might be a universal price drop.  And, if you're lucky, you might be able to find a Day One Edition.

Google Play and Xbox Gift Cards 10% off at Family Dollar 12/11/18 to 12/17/18...

15 December 2018 - 08:55 PM

Just as the title reads.  The ad shows a picture of $10, $25, and $50 Google Play gift cards and $25 and $50 Xbox gift cards.  They do sell a $15 card, but it probably won't work.  And it's in store only.

I hardly ever shop there, so I found out by accident when I went in for cheap wrapping paper.  When I went to the store earlier today, they were out of $25 cards, but the associate grabbed a keyring with various gift card UPC codes on it.  She scanned the $25 Xbox UPC, and it rang up for $22.50.  I just put the code in on Xbox Live, so I can confirm that it will work if the code has to be printed on the receipt.

Oh, and I just want to say in before someone else posts the comment "Family Dollar is the murder capital of the world, josekortez is a stupid  :censored: , and I think that Michael Weatherly tried to fondle my breasts."

Dollar General - 15% off HBO Now, Hulu, Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Network & Spoti...

26 November 2018 - 05:44 PM

Dollar General is selling HBO Now, Hulu, Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Network, and Spotify gift cards at a 15% discount from 11/25 to 12/1. In-store only. Pictured cards in the ad are $25 Hulu, $25 PSN, $20 Nintendo, $30 Spotify, and the HBO Now card is too grainy to see the denomination. No limit on the numbers of cards you can buy. I bought a $25 PSN for $21.25 during lunch break today.
